I wouldn't believe into this hype unless they physically showed where he's fully not available! Same with Shipley ... it's a ploy!!! Trap!!
Lol like we're sitting around game planning for what their backup OL is gonna do differently. There's no advantage here for Clemson.

It's supposed to be 59 at KO, but it might keep them from getting into the stands early.

Weird how this has turned into a trap game. LOL
This is not a trap game, nor does anyone consider it that knows football well. Everyone knows how good of a football program clemson has.

Correct in that sportcenter isn't going to be clamoring about an upset if we win, becuase it's NOT an upset. ND is a really really good team that should NOT be 7-2. Win out and make new years 6 bowl, lose here and this season is a major failure.

It shouldn’t be but the perception from national media, fanbase & Vegas makes it so. If Clemson were still solid favorites I would agree It’s not a trap game. I’ll give credit to most of the ND beat in that they realize how good Clemson truly is and that ND could very well lose. I know a few, like Mike Bernadino from SBT; is picking ND to lose. To assume an ND win is assuming Clemson will continue to step on their peckers offensively. They very well may do that but I wouldn’t bet on it b/c, say what you want; they’re playing Notre Fucking Dame. So compared to Duke (who most were calling a trap game in the pre-season), CLemson is a trap game.

ND would need to win by 20+ for this to do anything for their "resume", despite Clemson being 20 in FPI and the game being on the road. Even then, this is now a below .500 team you "should" blow out. Shitty situation.

Exactly. ND just needs to win…by one point or 100 pts. 10-2 is a good season and gives them a chance to finally win a NY6 bowl. If that’s not enough to play for then MF & Co better make some shit up.

Yeah, a below .500 team that has a top fifteen blue chip ratio (70%) that could put it all together.

Found another guy's list of BCRs by year. This shows Freeman has us near our high in the past couple decades. After the 2024 class, I believe we'll be closer to 70%.

Did a rewatch of the second half of Clemson/NC St. Some notes:
1. Klubnick looks gun shy. Doesn't throw the ball downfield. Even on their last drive everything was underneath. Checks down to the TE or RB with a minute to go down seven, not good.
2. Mafah, the RB who replaced Shipley is a battering ram of a back. Same dimensions as Estime but no moves. Just batters his way. Can catch and they throw to him a lot.
3. NC ST managed to stop Clemson without their best guy, Peyton Wilson. He limped off around halftime. They got away with using a 3 man rush a lot. Can't get away with that these days with most teams . Even got a sack with it on the last drive. Clemson went empty backfield and threw the ball on short yardage a couple of times. Maybe their Oline isn't that good this year?
4. If this game is close Clemson's kicker is bad. And it will probably be close.
5. Clemson's defense is good (duh). But they don't gamble much. Just line up and win one on one. Play off receivers a lot so you can hit passes in front of the DBs. Tackle well but they missed one on a slant that went 75 yards for a TD.

How good is their interior DL? That appears to be the biggest lynchpin to our offensive performance. If we can neutralize their interior rush/blitz, our offense can usually drive. If the pocket collapses or they get home with blitzes, we rapidly stall out.

Miami, who has a good OL, ran all over them. 5.6 YPC.

NC St avoided their interior DL. They did run a lot of off tackle plays with some success. Tyler Davis, who has been there forever, and the NT Orhorhoro, are powerful guys who'll knock the OL around. I doubt if we'll have much success running inside but our Oline is better at pass pro than run blocking IMO and if we can do that we should be OK.

Are we for sure that Hart AND Morrison are both playing? I know MF said they would but not always the case.

The way this year has gone, it’s best to just wait to see who lines up when the D takes the field. I can’t remember this many game day scratches.

Morrison had a quad strain, and was kept out as a precautionary, so I'd say it's a safe bet he plays.

Hart, I'm less sure, but frankly, with the way Mickey and Gray are playing, I'm not sure that's the biggest deal.
