Per FEI, UNC is the 6th ranked Offense and 68th ranked Defense. As long as the game is relatively clean on offense, I'm not sure how UNC stops the O. They'll score, yes, but the best offenses they've seen so far are UVA's and Duke's, both much worse than ND's.

As stumbled upon in the Kyren discussion - UNC has two Top 10 rushers totaling 14 TDs and averaging over 7 ypc each. I am not too worried about these guys after seeing how we bottled up Etienne. I expect us to make UNC one dimensional while our offense puts up big numbers.

Wake had a lot of DB's hurt. At one point had a linebacker and a walk on playing the safety positions. They had 6 hurt.

UNC has been suspect in pass protection. I think ND matches up really with UNC. Coming off a bye, the boys will be fresh. If Book continues playing well, how does ND not put up 50+?

Their defense is another story... but I could seriously see ND needing 50 to win this game. We are not going to be able to consistently stop their passing attack.

We don't need to stop it, just need to create a couple turnovers and force a couple FGs. That's all we need to win handily. Our offense is clicking.

Lea will have the defense ready. I have faith. Their offense looks good, but it’s not as talented as Clemson. Their QB looks great and he’ll make some plays. They won’t be able to score at will on us. They’re good. We’re better. Our OL will impose our will. Our DL will slow their running game forcing them to just air it out. This will go well for them at times, but not consistently enough to win. We will run well and keep their O off the field. Their margin for error is very small. We’ll be focused after being sloppy against BC. Without any injuries, I like us to win by double digits

Yes we need to score TD's early and Control the clock afterwards. Even with the pressure the D-line will put on Howell our defense has struggled this year in coverage. Howell can throw ball deep so they can move the ball in large chunks. And we can't drop 2 ints next week.

Do not agree. UNC has played terrible defenses which has made their offense look great. Their defense is high school level. Once their O goes no where and the D keeps bleeding points and yards, watch these cupcakes roll over and play dead.

PS you can never respect a team whose colors are baby flippin powder blue

I agree they have a good offense. BC held them 26 and FSU held them to 28. While I agree we need to RTDB and control the clock, not all that worried. We're easily the best D they've faced all year. FSU is the 3rd worst D in the ACC. They basically stacked up stats against teams giving up 450ish yards per game, not playing any of the top 5 Ds in the ACC. We've given up around 300ypg.

Not saying they're an easy out, and I do recognize they're good on O, just that their greatness might be bit overblown.

Finals are this week. We have a bye the end of finals week. We have nothing but football the week of the NC game.
