Wimbush is completely out of sorts. Had some nice throws on that last drive and mixed in throughout the half but the misses are truly inexcusable as they should be gimmes. As an OC, it makes calling plays pretty hard when your QB can’t even hit remedial short and intermediate routes.

Have to make some changes to the run game. Need to see more of Jones and Williams. Need more physicality from the OL. TE blocking has been terrible. Watching Smythe regress like this is embarrassing. He can’t even properly get his body in front of the defender on some of these blocks.

Fairly happy with the defense, if Finke doesn’t go total dumbie on that punt, it would’ve been a pretty good half for them. Speaking of Finke, he is truly awful as a punt returner. He’s terrible at judging when to fair catch and when not to. He has no explosive plays and the mistakes were bound to come as he’s had a lot of WTF moments. There has to be somebody better. If not, how do we have a roster that doesn’t have a better punt returner is baffling.
