several reasons were noted

1.from camden NJ---academics and not a fit at ND
2.he is pretty filled out now and is not going to be able to pack on enough weight to be a DE so he wouldn't be a fit in their scheme
3. overrated

also per wiltfong we haven't really pushed hard for any of the NJ boys because of basically an uphill battle w/out us getting much traction

So will he be an OLB in michigan's 3-4? Because if he can't pack on enough weight to be a 4-3 DE, he sure as sh!t can't be a 3 or a 5 in a 3-4 where you're frequently asked to take on multiple blockers.

I guess I'll err on the side of a staff that has more knowledge on the matter than I do, particularly one that tends to catch guys who are on an upswing talent-wise.

They didn't just bail on these NJ boys based on scheme. More of it was based on attitude and not being a good fit in ND. Anyone that was around Mitchell over the past week, knows this to be true.

This is not a case of sour grapes, so we weren't pushing that hard anyway. There's a reason they were set to visit a few months ago and then never came.

Good luck to them elsewhere.
