I don't think Wimbush is getting enough credit for how gritty of a run that was. He was stopped and it took a second and third effort to get in. It's a bad call because if he gets stopped that's half time and we're down 10-3 at the half with Navy getting the ball. If it was 4 second left I would actually have been fine with that call because it is the last play anyway. But with what, 12 seconds? If you get stopped in bounds you don't have time for another play.

I agree, but at what point is a win not enough? Eeking by teams you are favored by 20 over isnt enough, thats what teams who finish 8-4 every year do.

I know that we should easily win, but we just don't have that mojo right now. Realistically the way we are playing, I feel like we're going to win (close) today, lose to a mediocre Stanford team and get a bowl matchup hopefully against a team we can play with...... The way we look right now, a possible 10 win year would be considered a great year. I do think the reality that we don't really have a QB needs to set in. I am praying that Phil comes in and looks even close to what he looks like in a tough PA HS division. At the end of the day, you know Kelly has done enough to stay and we are going have to come to terms with that fact. Even as bad as we look right now, a decent QB on this team has us undefeated. The sky isn't falling and we're going to be fine...... Just kinda gotta maybe find a QB

Kelly needs to use his quicker backs. 34 and 38. They are eating Josh alive. Kelly can't seem to figure things out that work and the games moves forward. Same old plays. Very predictable.

"Should" doesn't equal success on that play. It was extremely risky to run through traffic up the middle. Great tough run, but rally we are fortunate to have scored. Being down a TD with them getting the KO would have sucked.

Easily the most angry I've been since Texas.... this feels so much like a typical Navy loss over the last decade, they're getting the spots, the turnovers and any time we flip momentum they flip it right back....

Good news is it's halftime, Navy dominated, played their game and it's tied. If our boys just play as they're capable and make a few stops they should be able to pull away but damn... that scenario seems a long way off after that shitfest.
