ISD had this information Monday and held it exactly for this reason. Nobody is doing install on a Thursday and changing what they've practiced against scout team all week.

They'll obviously change the game plan but will have minimal time to actually practice it. Especially with tomorrow being a travel day. They have today and they can try to practice it in the hotel lobby on Saturday because those players sure as hell won't want to practice it in the snow.

They didn't release it. Reporters agreed to sit on it for near a week as a favor. Reporters are paid to report the news, not be a mouthpiece of a team looking out for their interests above all else.

Because Notre Dame shouldn't need Ian Book in order to win this game. Clemson would win this game without Trevor Lawrence. Alabama would win this game without Tua. I think we could say the same thing for UM and UGA as well.

My first reaction to the Book news was, "Screw it. Double tight, Power I, run 65 times and win 14-3."

Then I remembered the ND O line isn't that strong and the FSU d line is pretty good and it's their secondary that can't cover a fart.

The offensive game plan should be interesting. FSU will obviously stack the box. How aggressive does FSU play on the back end? Are their corners playing press man?

If I were Long, I'm playing 4 wide with a running back next to BW. Get them as spread out as possible. If they are playing aggressive in the secondary, I'm throwing fade routes to 81 and 83 all day (something that Wimbush might be better at than Book). This will obviously be the best way to soften up the defense. Jafar Armstrong needs ti be utilized to his max as well.

I hope we go super "simple" playbook with Brandon. When he doesn't have too many options to read (or is given scripted plays) he looks really nice...It's when he's asked to do too much where his weaknesses shine the most.
