Everyone is talking about Bama.....there is no chance what so ever we beat Alabama. Unless they turn it over 10 times and play their 4th string.

Remember we have to play Clemson first too and I dont even think we can hang with them let alone Bama.

Alabama and Clemson are men amongst boys when you compare them to us. It's a simple fact.

I will watch and cheer regardless.

Is bama more talented? Yes. But I can assure you our football team will go into that game or any other playoff game believing they can win. The difference is, they dont slurp all the BS spewed by the talking heads. They look at tape and game plan and focus on their assignments.

So several people on here say they wanted OSU to make it bc they are the only ones who might be able to beat Bama yet they got stomped by Purdue. Everyone also believes we could beat OSU so I don’t understand the thinking that we have”no chance” to beat Alabama. If we play like we did against Vandy and Ball State, yeah we will be humiliated. If we play like we did against Syracuse, FSU and the first half of scUM before we got conservative, we can hang with anybody.

Georgia gave them the game yesterday and I think last year’s Georgia team was better than this year’s team. Citadel had them tied at the half showing they have issues at times too. Saban will have one week to prepare for us so I’m not as paranoid as the rest. Do I think we WILL win...slim chance. Do I think we CAN win...most definitely.

ND could beat Clemson by 30 and beat Alabama convincingly and the narrative would be something along the lines of "This just wasn't a great Alabama team" and within weeks you'd have articles ranking the champions of the BCS and CFP era.....with ND placed toward the bottom along with the 2007 LSU team.
