Ducks are blocking pucks like a bunch of bosses. Old school, full body sacrifices, not that sissy Euro "one knee down, turn head and cover face" block.

Anderson was standing on his head for the last part of that period. Made some great saves.

Yeah. The Hawks have played well in both losses. Just can't get pucks to drop.

If only someone had screened Anderson on that Saad wrister that Anderson snagged with the glove ...

Don't understand Vermette and Teravainen being replaced by Versteeg and Nordstrom.

I don't either. Truly don't. I thought Vermette and Teravainen were both playing well.

Unreal. Hopefully Q keeps Versteeg's ass firmly planted in the bench the rest of the way.

Yeah, Vermette and Teuvo are quickly becoming key players for this team. Cumiskey is really starting to grow on me too, I'd much rather have him out there than Timonen.

To your point Vermette was 70% on face offs tonight. That's huge.

They were two of the top four forwards in term of possession. Game 3 might have been different if they were in.

How's he been since he's been back in Chicago? He was absolutely useless in Philly.

Hurt, for the most part. He had a promising start to this season, then got hurt again, and hasn't looked good since. Even when he's at his best he overhandles the puck and is a defensive liability. The 2010 Hawks squad was deep enough to absorb that in return for his flashes of brilliance, I don't think this one is, especially with Kane looking pretty sapped from his early return.

Washed up. Like IrishInSyria said he had a hot start to the season and has been brutal since. I'm assuming Q switched TT and AV out to get an energy boost from Versteeg and Nordstrom after TT and AV played a lot of hard minutes in game 2 but you could tell a huge difference in the offense when those 2 were in the lineup.

Also good to see the Captain get on the board on a beauty of a goal.

Great game-wow. Hawks are making it happen in OT.

Perry is a stud for the ducks, he never seems to quit.

Absolute nightmare start. Crow gives up 2 on 3 shots, and the Hawks have yet to even put one on the net over 11 minutes in, not to mention getting their brains beat in on face offs.

Ducks are hungry as hell. This is bad.
