I would love to see the Blackhawks do some damage. I grew up with Chicago sports stations so I am biased towards Chitown teams. They have a young team, but should be able to get past the flames in the first round.

I am so torn because being a lifelong Kings fan living in OC, I absolutely hate the Ducks. But my wife absolutely hates the Sharks (they are #2 on my list of teams I hate) so I don't know who I want in this series. Maybe I will get lucky and a comet will strike the arena during the pregame skate.

I think, when it comes down to it, I have to root for the Ducks to get their arses kicked. I don't know if the Sharks are the team to do it since they have a tendency to have a stellar regular season and then disappear in the playoffs.

I am also interested in the Chicago/Calgary series. Definitely some interesting match ups out there. I can't wait. Hopefully next year I will be able to watch my Kings in the postseason.

as a life long kings fan, I'm used to picking an alternate team come playoff time. I gotta go with Daytwah, GO Red Wings!

I also like the WSH capitals, they have a few ex red wings on that team too. I've always enjoyed watching russian players.

Good to see the Blackhawks pull it off last night. Same with the Wings.

watched it last night and I knew after about ten minutes the Sharks weren't scoring... seen the ducks D enough to know when they have the clamps down... that is the only first round series in the West that interests me at all... should be a very close series... whereas all four of the in the east are awesome matchups...

Pens look pretty damn good last night buddy. Mike Richards was too busy trying to run everyone to pay attention to the game, and the whole series just turned 100% in Pittsburgh's favor. Not a huge Crosby fan, but I love Malkin and Talbot.......superstar treatment!

Talbot gets superstar treatment but you don't like Sidney??? okay, just a little odd... I have noticed the average hockey fan who is not a Pens fan tends to hate on Crosby... that's okay, he'll hoist his share of cups with or without ya...

I never said they'd beat the Wings... I said they had a chance in response to your they have no chance it's over they shouldn't even show up...

CBJ is vastly different from the Ducks, another very VERY different team in the postseason... I would love to see that series

Yeah, I will definitely admit that Detroit was lucky in it's first round draw, and I do think the Ducks are a really good team and I was hoping not to play them. But I also think that the Ducks would have problems with the Wings, and in a 7 game series I just find it difficult to see any team that should be favored against Detroit right now.
