Great W for Hawks. Ride Crow the rest of the way IMO. Darling was phenomenal this series when called upon but I just don't see them winning a cup without Crawford in net.

I was worried last night. I figured with all of the good chances we had in the third that Nashville would get a easy goal. haha.

Chi would still have took series IMO.

Fastest turn around I have ever seen in the salary cap era. I mean they were starting the rebuilding process just over a year ago. Now they are in the second round of the playoffs.

Great story out of Calgary. Those fans truly deserve it.

This,... Good to see... I have nothing against Chi town and others but was hoping some of the other new blood like Nash, Tampa or the NYI would move on also... Would be a nice change from a now neutral perspective...

I just hope we have this goalie situation settled finally. I do enjoy the fact that we'll be at home to start, and watching St Louis fold in the 1st round again is pretty funny.

The goaltending situation is very worrisome. It is almost impossible to win the cup unless your goalie is playing out of his mind. However, if any team can pull it off its the Hawks.

Wanted the Isles to win but at least it sucks to be John Fienstien tonight, can't stand that guy and he's an obsessive Isles fan.

Wings got dominated tonight at home to force game 7. That's why you gotta take care of business in game 4.

Man that Teuvo goal was nasty, completely took the air out of Minnesota's sails and the Hawks played a good possession game in the 3rd combined with some good saves by Crow.

Rozsival trips over his own feet, gives up a breakaway, gets hurt and then Minnesota scores 5 seconds later.

Wonderful.

Wonderful.

Yeah that was bad.

Crazy end to the game. Hawks did well to hold on.

How do they replace Rozsival? Rundblad comes in? How much will he play?

It's not great when you are basically playing 5 D-men and one gets hurt.

At least the Hawks have a few days to figure it out.

I think this is where the signing of Timmonen pays off. Hopefully he can step in and provide 12 minutes of decent ice time.

Showtime!

Also, this thread is dead this year.

It has been dead. The bruins, kings, pens, flyers, kings and wings are done and the canadiens and rangers aren't giving their fans much to talk about at the moment. Makes the board a bit boring and I'm sure the league's front office isn't happy either. They'll be even more pissed if they get a ducks vs lightning finals. I hope the rangers, canadiens and flames can push their series to 7 games.

I respect Timmonen's toughness but I just don't know if twelve minutes is a realistic number. He's averaged about seven in the last five games. And he won't have easy minutes against the ducks. They're big, fast and talented.

That's why I said "decent" ice time. Like you said, he's tough. He will need to step up. I'm confident coach Q will figure something out. Coach Q reminds me of Bruce Bochy. Seems to pull the right strings most of the time.

One M gents. The finnish god of defense deserves to have his name spelled right.

Crazy game in NY tonight.
