Nedavis is a trollLoy said probably Nike
Random Poster says he's been told Adidas or New Balance.
Isn't that kind of similar to what Notre Dame did with UA? They expected UA to keep growing so most of the deal was stock and UA has fallen off. Not exactly sure I want them to go down that path again.Random thought I had... I expect it to be Nike. BUT hear me out. No Bull.
I don't even own any No Bull. I didn't even hear of No Bull before the NFL Combine. But they are on a meteoric rise and they want to expand more into football and other sports, what better brand to do it on than Notre Dame? In the NIL era, it could be a perfect match with athletes highlighted and compensated regularly.

Eh, Nike is Jordan and Jordan is Nike. You all just fell into the trap.UA makes the best fan apparel, adidas apparel was always cheap and didn't last long. So either UA or Nike.... not jordan
New balance owns warrior. A win all around!!Let’s really lean into our snooty white demo and go Warrior.
Sounds like UA about 25 years ago.Random thought I had... I expect it to be Nike. BUT hear me out. No Bull.

I don't know if it has an overall negative perception, but when I hear New Balance I think only of running shoes. No Bull just replaced UA at the NFL combine and was a hit so at least for that type of setting, it's looked at better than the current brand. It's more than a long shot, but if they didn't go Nike or Adidas would honestly rather a longshot betting first and foremost on Notre Dame than New Balance or some other company that brings zero excitement. At least with No Bull, most people don't even know what it is whereas New Balance has an overall negative perception to most.
When I think of new balance, I conjure up an imagine of velcro sneakers on some overweight balding dude in jean shorts with a sleeveless tee and fanny pack.I don't know if it has an overall negative perception, but when I hear New Balance I think only of running shoes.
I'll be right back. I gotta change clothes. When I think of new balance, I conjure up an imagine of velcro sneakers on some overweight balding dude in jean shorts with a sleeveless tee and fanny pack.
In other words, a UM or UF fan.
Yeah kind of a my ears are burning on that one and my three pairs of new balanceI'll be right back. I gotta change clothes.
dont diss my preferred brand for lawn mowing footwearWhen I think of new balance, I conjure up an imagine of velcro sneakers on some overweight balding dude in jean shorts with a sleeveless tee and fanny pack.

Marcus Freeman could sell a billion dollars worth of Lululemon casual wear lmaoas mentioned by Andy Staples; lulu-lemon. Marcus Freeman selling to men and women everywhere.
New Balance is mostly running (and there'd be no more of this foot injury nonsense), but they also do some baseball stuff, and yeah own Warrior which is lacrosse and hockey gear. They did briefly do Liverpool's jerseys too but I don't think that ended well.I don't know if it has an overall negative perception, but when I hear New Balance I think only of running shoes.
The article Andy wrote in The Athletic is certainly thought provoking.Marcus Freeman could sell a billion dollars worth of Lululemon casual wear lmao
I absolute love this idea. Don't think it will happen but it's a really good idea. The article Andy wrote in The Athletic is certainly thought provoking.
Sign a deal for clothing and do the shoe deal separately. Make the shoe deal non-exclusive so the athletes can sign their own shoe deal with whatever company they want. Instant big time NIL advantage for the Irish.
It would take away from the school coffers so yea I bet there is zero chance of this happening. It would be one hell of hit with the recruits though and would finally put ND out in front instead of playing catch up like the past 20 years.I absolute love this idea. Don't think it will happen but it's a really good idea.
Carhart. Get it done.
