Noticed NOBULL replaced UA as outfitter for the NFL Combine. Wonder if they’re staying in their lane as workout gear or looking to expand into team sports?

Wanna change your stance on the unattractiveness of UA shoes... look at Nobull's. You'll find nicer full China garbage on Alibaba.

And their stuff is... Made in USA - New Balance kinda money.

The answer is Puma.

Nike is the only brand that will move the needle for 16-18 year old kids. So if ND can get a deal there, that’s a huge win.

UAs clothing/swag is decent. And their cleats look decent. Who knows on the foot injuries.

Their tennis shoes suck tho.

By tennis shoes do you mean athletic shoes or shoes made just for tennis?

I live in LA County, travel quite a bit, keep up on fashion, and buy and sell fairly expensive sneakers with my 15 year old son. I think I’m dialed in to what kids like. Honestly, nobody outside of the Midwest wears UA. It is inherently uncool to most kids. It’s perceived as a middle aged white guy brand. I know everyone says it doesn’t matter in recruiting, but this stuff is important to kids. I think parting ways might help. Kids would much rather have free Nike stuff than UA stuff.

New Balance sponsors Boston College.
New Balance headquarters is about a mile from BC's campus. That may be part of it.

FWIW, they do have hockey, baseball and lacrosse gear. Their shoes are surely better than UA crap. I'd buy the shit out of ND stuff at the factory store (where I buy all my family's shoes. ;) And they used to have a deal with Liverpool. But then Liverpool dropped them for Nike because, oddly, Liverpool decided being affiliated with LeBron James and Serena Williams was cooler than being affiliated with Dustin Pedroia and random marathon runners.

Same (other than I don’t live in LA County). My son buys & sells shoes on GOAT. The big sellers are Nike Dunks Low & Air Jordans (of course). There’s no question Nike rules
