NCAA 13 fans....we have a problem!

I just went to preorder the game at gamestop. They had NCAA 13 set up on the console early available to play. I played and the gameplay is exactly the same as last years. No changes at all it seemed. They used the same loading screen, same menus and everything. It seems they only changed 2 things about the game 1) they switched the "12" on the title to a "13" and they changed Notre Dame's helmets to the spicy mustard color. Unless there is an immediate update you get by signing online that gamestop didn't do, the helmets look like crap.

(By the way this is just from play now mode, i didn't play dynasty so I don't know if they changed that at all)

They probably have a patch to download once you get it in the ps3. The one at gamestop probably wasn't patched.

I have Season Ticket. Which means I can download the game 3 days early (so in other words, I have NCAA right now on my 360). Helmets are fine. No worries.

Does it have the Under The Lights green version? How do the helmets look that video showed the Shamrock Series does it have the swirls or whatever? Thanks going to buy tonight and add a NC to ND 11..

EAsports did a live stream for NCAA 13 today from 3-9 and played a ND vs. Mich (per my request on twitter) game with Notre Dame rocking the Shamrock series uniforms. The guy controlling ND had Golson start and won 24-21. They were the guys from Prima Stragety Guides and make the strategy booklets for NCAA and Madden.

This is probably due to the fact that you are playing on the lowest difficulty level...If I had to guess.

Ran across some guy on another board that flipped out over ND's ratings... said it took all EAs credibility away for good... I mean he was angry that he couldn't beat ND in this game... myself and others shot down all his points about how ND is one of the worse programs in the country... hasn't beaten anyone in 25 years... can't get players and Rivals only pumps ND kids up to sell subscripts... the whole 9... he of course ignored all of my (and others) valid points and just spit venom on how much he hates losing to ND...

then...

he drops it...


he's a Vols fan... how long have I been saying that base has issues with ND that are just beyond me??... lol

The graphics are fine.

They aren't maroon as depicted previously.

They don't look so realistic as to mimic light bulbs, however.

Completely agree, I enjoy the word "phenomenal" to describe how well they did the "new" gold, especially when you compare it to the "old" gold that they also have in the game. Maybe all those old sample gameplay videos were just EA trolling the ND fans.

Check em out during a night game...plenty of none ND fans have complained how the new gold looks brown during night games.

Yeah the helmets are amazing until it starts to get dark outside. They turn brown (like in the OP video) for night games and when they are in the tunnel.

During the day, though, they look absolutely AMAZING!

I didn't get it for XBox this year so I don't know exactly where... but I have seen posters on op sports state the xbox ones are finished... here is where all the rosters threads are if that helps...
