Is that what the tweets about UCLA by Farrell and Gorney are about?

More bad news for Texas:

This one hits their 2014 and 2015 classes.
According to the source, academic support was the biggest reason why the Teuhemas decided they won't end up at Texas. LSU coaches impressed the Teuhema family this weekend by stressing academics throughout their visit, and by the end of the weekend the family was ready for a change of plans.
Whenever I see something like this, I think of my old 2003 PS2 NCAA Football game where you just pick one of 4 strategies to pitch to recruits. I would go through all 4 of them until I found the one that the recruit liked and then keep pitching it. Basically just telling them what they wanted to hear even though it mght not even be remotely true. But since the SEC is a bastion of academic institutions, I can see where LSU's pitch seems legit.
My initial reaction was a similar "lolwut?" But upon closer inspection, LSU's minority GSR is significantly better than UT's. So, if you're set on attending a football factory, but you also sorta care about gettin' skooled, then UT to LSU for academic reasons might be legit.
If that is really what sells you on a program I think it's fair to say you probably "thanks, but no thanks" to both of them...

I thought this was an interesting piece and I didn't see it anywhere else.
From the article: "We just keep recruiting until the first day of class every year," UCLA defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator Angus McClure said
Must have gotten the month screwed up.
Budda Baker will commit between 5:15 and 5:30 between UCLA and UW

Picking up major steam...sucks.
