I haven't seen the movie. However, Angel Studios is a Christian based media company. I don't know if you have heard of or seen The Chosen. It's a pretty popular series based on the life of Jesus (Some of the seasons are on Netflix). That series has put Angel Studios on the map. I would assume - I know... - that because the movie is being put out by Angel Studios, it is going to have a fairly large following from the Christian community.

I had no idea what Sound of Freedom was, but watching the trailer it's obviously not a "great" movie, so seeing a 99% audience score is a dead giveaway that it's agenda driven in some fashion.

It's not political or religious at all, there is no current 'culture war' underneath it all... it's just a good movie trying to take real events to bring wider attention to modern-day human trafficking. The shame of them trying to do so,....

The pushback is pretty shocking to be honest. I can't think of any reason 'let's actually try to stop child sex trafficking' wouldn't be embraced across the board,... let alone pushed back on so hard. They must be scared of an assumed Angel Films uptick,…

I’ll probably wait until it comes into streaming, but it’s worth noting that two local churches rented an entire theatre in my town on multiple days to provide a free showing to the public. It’s a real grassroots movement.

A few of these articles went total scorched earth, rolling stone and slate in particular,… if you have to say out loud,… ‘I’m not pro child sex trafficking,… I’m really not,… but,’ while attacking everything BUT the movie itself, even going so far as to say the movie goers have brain worms, maybe just take a step back.

Having seen the movie it’s crazy to read some of these articles acting like it’s the Bubonic Plague of films and all who have seen it are contaminated.

Genuine criticisms over the artistic aspects of a movie, and the strange connections that some of the people behind the movie have don't make people "pro sex trafficking" lmao.

Kars4Kids have the worst commercials ever, does that make everyone who doesn't like those commercials anti-charity? lol relax, it's not that deep.
