Filled mine out.

Final Four:
(20) Moana vs (17) Monsters, Inc.
(26) The Lion King vs (5) Toy Story

Champion:
Moana edges out Toy Story after one of the most hard-fought and closely-contested Final Fours of all time.

Notes:

- Cars vs Incredibles is a tough first-round matchup. Not sure I agree with Rotten Tomatoes seeding there.

- SUPER CINDERELLA 1: (56) The Rescuers Down Under make it to round 4, beating (9) Zootpia, (24) Sleeping Beauty, and (25) The Little Mermaid before losing at the buzzer to (17) Monster's, Inc.

- SUPER CINDERELLA 2: (53) The Sword in the Stone is criminally underseeded, and wreaks havoc on (12) Dumbo and (21) Beauty and the Beast before being halted by (5) Finding Nemo in round 3.

- (27) A Bug's Life knocks out (6) Toy Story 3 in one of the more shocking upsets

- (54) The Fox and the Hound obliterates the criminally over-seeded (11) Inside Out. Easiest 54-Over-11 call ever.

If we're going based on what should happen, this is terrible and your taste in movies is as bad as your taste in chili.

The Incredibles is a top 4 Pixar movie, Cars is not, no challenge. Toy Story 3 ain't perfect, but A Bug's Life is middle of the pack Pixar at best. And Inside Out was one of the best movies of 2015; Pete Docter is a genius.

And Moana beating Toy Story? Them's fighting words.

I'm going with "What was hot when I was a kid" bias, as well as "What's hot now that I HAVE a kid" bias.

That's why Moana and Toy Story were duking it out. Moana's original musical tracks gave her the edge over one of my favorite childhood movies.

I have a soft spot for Cars because of my younger siblings, whom I babysat for my parents a lot. They loved Cars.

A Bug's Life is a bit underrated IMO, but its advancing to further rounds was more about how overrated Toy Story 3 is, IMO.

Everyone loves TS3 because of the sentimentality and the scene where they are all holding hands, preparing to die together, but I don't hold to shock-and-awe like the common folk. And I thought the villain was weak sauce compared to Sid from TS1 and Stinky Pete from TS2.

Rescuers Down Under was one of my favorites when I was little, and The Sword in the Stone checks all of the nerd boxes that I value, so they both advanced on some unrealistic upsets in my bracket.

And I'd thank you not to conflate my love of Cincinnati Chili with my overall taste in chili.

I appreciate good, *regular* chili on its own. Cincinnati Chili is a separate dish entirely, IMO, and so I would never judge it against a good pot of regular chili. It's apples-and-oranges.

I had Beauty and the Beast winning as well. I think I had Lion King crashing out reallllly early. Not a fan of that movie.

Great story, likeable characters, Belle is bangin, and the musical score is second to none. Well done good sir.

Okay I did one.. geez huge blue blood match-ups in the sweet 16:

Jungle Book/Cinderella
Nemo/B&B
Pinocchio/Peter Pan
Lil Mermaid/Sleeping Beauty

Also, the bracket with Many Ad of Pooh, Frozen, Monster Inc. etc is pure garbage... it was a war of which movie I disliked the least.

My Final Four was

Little Mermaid (very special move for our family plus one of the more important Disney movies in history)
Finding Nemo which upset Beauty in the Beast in the sweet sixteen in a game that could have easily been a national
final
The Lion King Today's revel from ND confirmed he is in fact a racist... it's the only logical answer. Simba and Co blew through their bracket with ease to get here.
The Fox and the Hound TFatH walks away with their bracket after Robin Hood was held out of the tourney for simply upholding their honor code.

The Lion King won in triple overtime after Ariel fouled out on a 50/50 charging call on Rafiki.

The Incredibles is a top 4 Pixar movie, Cars is not, no challenge.

The Incredibles is my favorite Pixar movie. It's perfect. That Lasseter inflicted FIVE movies about talking vehicles on us before releasing a sequel to Brad Bird's masterpiece is indefensible.

Tangentially related, but Incredibles > Toy Story in the Sweet 16 was probably my most controversial pick.

I think I had Lion King crashing out reallllly early. Not a fan of that movie.

Agreed. Totally overrated.

My Final Four was Peter Pan, Cinderella, Snow White and The Incredibles, with Snow White as the champion.

Only Pixar's very best offerings deserve serious consideration against the Disney classics. These brackets would look very different had you included Robin Hood and The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad, wiz.

I honestly could have ended up with a Final Four of all movies kept out of the tourney... I guess this year I'm more interested in the NIT...

Pixar's very best are a decent number though, ranging from Toy Story through Up (minus several of their offerings). It's been quite some time since I've seen the Disney classics -and I'll rewatch them soon- but the best of Pixar is near their equal.

Lion King is prob a top ten all time movie for me... forget animated/Disney/ this and that... just MOVIE... It's up there with Godfather, Shawshank, Goodfellas, Field of Dreams, Gump and others in my personal top ten.

I get it though, everyone has their films they just don't get. On this topic/list I have never understood the love affair with the Toy Story movies... I have tried to watch all of them and haven't finished a single one, I find them all to be a chore. For Pixar films I'd go Up and Nemo... just me.

Losing to Cinderella 100% of the time in the 1st round.

Maybe, it should still be in the tourney though imo.. I mean Emperor's New Grove and Treasure Planet just top name a couple made it for crying out loud.

Also, not 100% of the time... this is supposed to be your personal picks right?? I'd watch PatF over Cinderella pretty much always...

It's in there. 8th match-up. (24) Sleeping Beauty v. (41) The Princess and the Frog.

I'd also watch Aliens over Citizen Kane pretty much always, but that doesn't mean the former is a better film.

Aliens is clearly the more important movie....

anyway this is supposed to be YOUR personal take right? If not then my bracket would prob have been much different.

The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad isn't even a movie, it's two half movies packaged together.
