Watched The Man from U.N.C.L.E. over the weekend. I really enjoyed it, especially the cinematography and score.
I liked it enough too. Not great but a worthwhile watch.
I find myself going to the DVD collection a bit lately and pulling out ones I haven't watched in a while.
Last night's selection :
Push (2009)
- Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, Djimon Hounsou, and a few others you would recognize.
- After his father, an assassin, is brutally murdered, Nick Gant (Chris Evans) vows revenge on Division, the covert government agency that dabbles in psychic warfare and experimental drugs. Hiding in Hong Kong's underworld, Nick assembles a band of rogue psychics dedicated to destroying Division. Together with Cassie (Dakota Fanning), a teenage clairvoyant, Nick goes in search of a missing girl and a stolen suitcase that could be the key to accomplishing their mutual goal.
- A good little flick that somewhat keeps you guessing. Notable as some scenes shot on the streets of Hong Kong were filmed single take guerilla style from vans with holes cut in the sides to get the bustle of the real streets of Hong Kong.
