Ark State?! lol Wow. This is like the one guy who went to OU then ended up going to some small black college before going pro.

Kristi Molzhan sounds like a Cee U Next Tuesday

Sorry my autocorrect is a little off, but how dare she say that about Lou....

If you caught her interview, it came across as an audition tape for "The Unreal Wives of College Coaches".

Gus is gonna tell me to 'shut up!'

There could be many more wives who share her perspective but I suspect most have the wisdom to speak with prudence into a microphone.

I wouldn't be shocked if Dyer went to ASU (Jonesboro is close to Little Rock, where he's from) and simply got to be back home and with a coach he likes and trusts...biding his time and entering the draft next year without actually ever playing at ASU. Who knows. This has all been strange.

Another tweet came out saying that it's not true and that Dyer wants to talk to Chizik.

Marucs Dupree Espn 30 for 30. "Best that never was" I believe this is who he is talking about.

Marcus Dupree went to OU and played as a freshman and soph. After making 2nd Team All American as a freshman, he had a bunch of injuries including a concussion his soph year and transferred to Southern Miss. USM is a small college but it wasn't a black college. They didn't admit a black student to the year after Dupree was born. When Dupree learned he would have to sit out the next season due to NCAA transfer rules he bolted for the USFL. More injuries with some success but never like his high school numbers or freshman season at OU. Then he had a severe knee injury and was out of football for 5 years or so. He had a brief comeback in the NFL for a year or two and was done.

An amazing talent that busted in a very bizarre way.

Not having to work hard to be better than everyone else can have its negatives.

But if Dyer transferred to Ark State, then after being told he would have to sit declared for the draft, the story would be very similar.

Edit: Yes, good catch by BGIF. I thought it was like Grambling State that he had transferred to, not USM, hence my "small black college" comment.

Do you have a job, BGIF? I mean, I love the encyclopedic knowledge, but I don't see how anyone could read as much as you must, and still hold down a full time job?

Hey Michael.

It's me, Chris. We've never met, but I bet you're having a tough time with this decision. Probably pretty disappointed that your time at Auburn doesn't appear to be working out. I have a solution that'll work out for the both of us.

Come to Notre Dame and lead us to a National Championship. It's that simple, really. Just do it. Don't think, just do it. Do it. It. Do it. Come on, everybody's doin' it. You won't regret it.

Oh, and in the case you decide it's not best to come to the little slice of heaven that is Notre Dame to play football, you are dead to me as a human being and I just want to say I never wanted you anyway.

Love,

I read a few places that he failed a 3rd drug test, and was staring down a 6 game suspension, so Chizik just iced him instead of taking the publicity hit.

Dismissed from Arky State for violating team rules. Had been trying to transfer from there the last couple of week and was blocked.

Dyer, Crowell both huge wastes.... It's a shame but file them with Clarett in the "Rb's who are incredibly talented but dumb as $hit" category......

Looks like he is headed to Louisville. Big pick up for them if he can keep his head on straight.

He played 2 years at Auburn. Then at least transferred to Arkansas St (I think). Not sure if that counts against his eligibility at all or not though.

Wow... if he plays at the level he's capable of it's hard to see them not going undefeated this year. The hardest team they play is Cincinnati. Or maybe Rutgers. They should shred people on offense.

You are correct sir, I was mistaken on his years at Auburn but I think he still has two years. 2012 was essentially a red shirt year.
