I’m not. Never watched Bachelor, Bachelorette, or any of those shows. But my wife had this on when I got home from practice a couple days ago and I’m a HUGE social psychology guy so I got hooked. And I have no one to talk to about my thoughts.

Love is Blind definitely had more of an "experiment" and "real" vibe to it than the Bachelor. I watch the Bachelor every season and it has turned into a complete sideshow with production manufacturing all kinds of drama. With Love is Blind you at least had these folks eating on camera, getting legitimately drunk, and having longer (seemingly) unedited conversations.
That being said, Love is Blind is insane and I couldn't believe half the shit that happened.

The Ginanni and Damian thing Is a shipwreck waiting to happen. Funny how real Damian Is and how that little girl made It on the show to begin with. As long as he has a lawyer and one of those agreements, he should be fine.

I’m through episode 6.
Here’s the main things that are crazy to me so far:
1. I was most interested to see if people still found their “level” despite no physical appearance. Would 10s end up with 3s? Or would it be 8s with 8s? I sorta had a feeling they would, because I think personality is largely an extension of your whole self. But I was fucking SHOCKED how dopey Barnett attracted LITERALLY the same crowd he would at a bar: the hot crazy girl, the desperate girl past her prime, and the girl who is actually girlfriend/wife material and is totally into him but doesn’t stand out for (insert bullshit reason). It’s like people are conditioned to certain lanes and it’s hard to break that.
2. I knew the moment that Jessica chick waffled towards Barnett over Mark that she was fucking toxic as hell. She is like a meme from MRA reddit brought to real life. Holy shit does she suck and the best thing that can happen to that dude at this point is that she leaves him. He will look back on it and be so thankful.
3. The only couple I think is actually a good couple (and did the experiment right) is Lauren and Cameron. Each other pair has at least one person who held something back... and that’s probably just a death sentence. It’s basically starting your relationship with a lie.
