Sorry to make an entire thread for this, but sometimes stuff goes unnoticed and lost in other threads.

Is there anyway to take important topics, such as the "Rumored Violations" thread, and create an update only version, to go along with it, so we don't need to read 20 pages of unrelated conversation just to find out if anything new happened or not. Some of the other sports forums I follow do this and it's really helpful. I realize I do not have the time to run a thread like that and it might be too much trouble, but I just wanted to get this idea out there.

Man up, grow a pair and suffer through all of it like the rest of us!

Actually, just go to the last post and peruse the last three or four posts. you'll know quickly if something significant developed.

Is this the thread where we give the update on what we had for lunch and then the ensuing post-lunch dumps?

There's a Help, Feedback, and Suggestion Forum so people don't have to read this kind of stuff in the Football Forum.

You can also click on New Posts in the Blue bar on the front page so you can see just the posts and threads with activity since your last visit. Despite the banter which has become more frequent of late, you haven't had to read 20 pages in a thread much less 20 pages of unrelated conversation in a thread.

The format here was developed over several years and works pretty well. If you want the mods to moderate the unrelated chatter, suggest it ... in the Help, Feedback, and Suggestion Forum.

Following on from BGIF's helpful post, there are several reasons Recruiting Profiles are strictly moderated which don't apply to threads like "Rumored Violations". As mentioned above, if you feel like those threads should also be strictly moderated, feel free to suggest it in the appropriate forum; but please realize that there are significant drawbacks to aggressive moderation.

Virtually everyone is frustrated with the lack of updates. Fortunately, IE has many members who are quite diligent about posting news here as soon as it breaks on Twitter. Believe me, if there's anything even remotely close to "news" on this subject, it will be posted and dissected ad nauseum in that thread. If you open the thread and find that the last couple pages (last Friday excepted, there's virtually never a need to go back 20 pages) are mostly off-topic banter, then you can rest assured that you didn't miss anything.

If that's not good enough, I'd strongly suggest you get on Twitter and start following ND sources. When news breaks, it's usually there first.

Wow, you cook in mass.

I'm helpless without those little 1/8 cup spoons and such. Can you post s.g.'s so I can convert to volumetric?

How many servings in a batch?

Thanks!

One of biggest reasons I enjoy eating macaroons is because I know how much effort was expended for each delicate little cookie.

That seems sadistic, like saying you love coming home to a clean house but only if you know your wife had a really tough time scrubbing the floor.
