You think I would be stunned by this but I'm not all that surprised.

When you have 6+ pages of Kiffin doing ridiculously immature and stupid **** throughout the course of an entire year, it's really hard to be surprised by anything short of him pulling a Bobby Petrino. I almost expect him to do something asinine on a bi-weekly basis now haha.

If Bobby Petrino's wife was as hot as Kiffin's he wouldn't have wanted to have an affair.

Btw Kiffin is suppose to name a starter today and all signs indicate that Barkley won't be able to play. I think Wittek will be good, but I will laugh my a$$ off if they get beat by GT.

Thinking about it ND's image from the Sun Bowl luncheon, a Haka that scared the opponets; SC's, Lane Kiffin in a sombrero with a goofy a$$ look on his face . . .

From Urban Dictionary

"Kiffin: A term describing a prolonged stage of particularly underdeveloped emotional health. Symptoms include a sense of entitlement, in spite of little or no actual earned accomplishment, and a sometimes astonishing lack of elementary and basic character, seen particularly in the inability to edit one's own words or behavior.

Ex - Though the man was in his early 30s, his childish remarks and impetuous behavior showed that he was developmentally stuck in a major Kiffin."

Seems to fit

Thinking of switching -- any thoughts on cost/benefit/etc? Pool wear is sort of my problem at the moment -- I suck a balancing. And by "suck" I mean "lazy".

It doesn't surpise me that this happened but it still drives me crazy. The quality of character from top to bottom in their program is ridiculous. When the players are tweeting **** like that its because the whole program is seriously flawed.

Is there going to be vBets at some point on Georgia Tech vs USC? USC has some of the worst tackling fundamentals in the NCAA, heck my 7th and 8th graders I coach have better technique if not quite the same athletic ability. I wouldn't be surprised if Georgia Tech runs all over them.

That being said with GT's defense GT could run all over USC and still loose. I actually think this an interesting game.

That look on Kiffy's face tells you he doesn't want to be there. Short of a pileup on the freeway, there's no excuse for them to be late. These events have everything planned out in detail to the minute and usually have some type of a backup plan in place as well. He has become a major embarrasment to USC and Hayden appears to be ignoring all of it.

Lane Kiffin makes it official, Matt Barkley will not play in Sun Bowl. #USC

By all accounts, Barkley is not a bad kid. Hate it for him that he stayed in school that 1 year too long. His stock has sunk big time on so many draft boards. Last year he would have been a Top 5 pick. Now, he is likely looking at the 2nd round. That is a lot of lost money. And what did he get? His game has taken tons of criticism, his reputation as a poised QB has taken a big hit. He is more of a Sanchez instead of a Carson Palmer. Hope he at least graduated and has his degree, even if it is from USC.

My guess is Hayden is just trying to ride out the sanctions with Kiffin and then he will bring in a coach that he wants.

Yea Barkely would have likely would have went ahead of Ryan Tanahill. After Luck and RG III were off the board.

Maybe, but it doesn't make sense. What is it he can do during the sanctions that another coach can't? If you're right, it's probably due to the size of the buyout in his contract.

Saltwater pools are the only way to go for a "lazy man". They are simple, but I would recommend getting the automated chlorinatior/filter/robot control unit. It does the diagnostics, cleans, and filters all on timers, and tells you when to add salt. I can tell you exactly what model I have and the price if you are interested. I wouldn't put in anything else, but if you are changing over from chlorine I would wait until the existing system was giving me problems. PM me if you want specifics, just went through this in the spring.

Just saw that McShay has him as the #2 qb in the draft. Who does he have in front of him? Not Laundry, is it?

I think it's the class he's pulled together... Even with sanctions it's one of the best in the country. If he keeps Lane one more season he at least gives the new coach some talent in the cupboard to build around. Fire Lane now and that class dissolves.
