This may be the funniest thing I've read in a while.

TMZ is correct more often than we give them credit for.

I agree with you. Just like John Edwards a few years back when he was having his affair, it was the National Enquirer that broke that story. He denied it until he was busted at the hotel in LA.

Although I strongly dislike Kiffin, I want him to stay in LA and keep them playing below expectations a few more years.

Even if Kiffin gets let go from USC he will find another job quickly. From the Raiders to Tennesse to USC. The guy is like a boomerang, the football world can't get rid of him.

When I look at USC's recruits this year, I get excited. You could argue that the biggest weakness on that team is in the OLine. They only have two recruits along the offensive front this cycle, which means they will likely continue to get weaker as a team.

All of those flashy RBs, QBs and WRs aren't going to meet their potential when defenses can wear down the thin OL of the Trojans. Kiffen may be a great recruiter on paper, but I think his team continues to regress next year.

Yes it is kind of Charlie Weis style recruiting. Weis actually did a better job at bringing in elite offensive skill players than Kelly as so far. Weis though neglected the o-line and especially the defensive line. Only solid recruiting class across the board that Weis had was 2008.

BTW to me Charlie Weis will always be an ND man. His foundation does great work. Wish him the best at KU.

As far as individuals, I think CW is a man of honor, and a man of his word. As a person he is far ahead of Lane. Brady may be a great guy two. But CW needed college head coaching experience, and Brady may have been thrust a little to early on a major stage. Kiffin, I believe, will finally get everything he deserves.

I am just hoping they keep him for a while. The parallels between SC and UM and ND's recent past are now becoming clear!

Charlie is a bit arrogant but he is a stand up guy. He was just not ready to be a head coach. He did not bother with the big picture, he doted on the offense. He made poor AC hires. His AC's did not share his vision for the team (if Charlie had actually formulated one). Charlie did not understand the subtle differences between coaching adults in the NFL and kids in college. He and his staff were not effective teachers.(except maybe a qb tutor) This resulted in highly regarded recruits stagnating at Notre Dame instead of improving.

No CW one, Brady two, unless you read it wrong Sir D!
