I will lose my sh1t if Jaylon pops ND at the spring game. He is unbelievable and can make an immediate impact, and that is after watching his JUNIOR tape! Kid's a freak.
But this staff is terrible at recruiting.
Tony Alford is overrated too....
*biggest eyeroll ever*
It's good ND has gotten this many commitments this early, but if these players start taking visits to other schools I would pull their offer. That approach seems to be working well for Hoke and Michigan. I think that's the best way to prevent late decommits.

I disagree.
It is SO early in this recruiting cycle that, by using this tactic, you may end up just pissing kids off and chasing them away.
It's like a boyfriend that forbids a girl to talk to anyone else but him.
In the end she'll break up with him

Does he really pull their offers? Or does he just no longer consider them committed and resume recruiting other players at their positions? I thought it was the second; if its the first that's pretty extreme.
You're right he may just consider them no longer commited, I don't know for sure though. Regardless I think their approach to recruiting is a very good one.
OL/DL Donovan Munger - we did well, might lead
This was uncalled for. I think we can all agree on our hatred for scUM, but nobody can deny they've done a great job recruiting. I don't agree with it, but saying they're recruiting well isn't blasphemy.
Uncalled for huh, others don't share that opinion. Never did I say they haven't done well in recruiting. Just because they are having a good start doesn't mean we should adopt their philosophy. We are off to a great start too, and doing it the ND way! So again if you have wolverine envy them head to mgoblog. This is Irish Envy.
I think a HUGE thank you should go to the weather. Believe it or not, I think the incredible whether for the junior day weekend played a huge part in getting so many kids to recruit. It was absolutely beautiful out. Hopefully we can say the same for Blue Gold game, unlike last year.
