That doesn't say how many are unanswered. I know a few people that haven't been able to get through for a while and the lottery site has been down periodically. Not sure what there is to talk about, submit the lottery and cross your fingers. Nothing really changes until the lottery closes December 3rd. You can be sure the "formula" for the lottery will change a couple hundred times between now and then!

Is it just me or is it that since ND has the championship game everyone is suddenly confident whereas before the oklahoma game there were still a lot of people saying we would have 2 losses by the end of the season? I am confident and have been for a while, but now it seems, on this board anyway, that the confidence is soaring and we can't lose. I'm fine with that.

Notre Dame Beating The Odds

Is it just me or is it that since ND has the championship game everyone is suddenly confident whereas before the oklahoma game there were still a lot of people saying we would have 2 losses by the end of the season? I am confident and have been for a while, but now it seems, on this board anyway, that the confidence is soaring and we can't lose. I'm fine with that.

Inteligence in observation is seeing that everyone feels their dick has grown by two inches.

Tact and decorum is not pointing it out too harshly.

Trying to debate if it would be better to watch the game somewhere in my hometown of Chicago or in South Bend on/near campus. Miami is going to be a bit much for me. Any input?

Couple pages back they mentioned that on semester break the campus was going to be like a ghost town. May be a good bar or two in town, though.

Anyone going to the game? I haven't read through the entire thread. I put a deposit down with Anthony Travel for their bowl game package. But I have no official ties to the University other than a rabid fan, so I don't really like my odds of getting tickets. Anyone else do this?

*Saw a nice resort that was 400 bucks cheaper than the rest, got excited, and almost booked that one. Read the fine print, and it was a gay resort! STAY AWAY FROM THE CHESTON RESORT! Unless of course you are into "fabulous" accomodations!

If you are pretty much just going to sleep there, I say go for it.... 400 more bucks for beer etc

How are people getting tickets? Just read ND gets 17,000 tickets. There is an alum/parents/benefactor/monogram club, etc. lottery, a student lottery, and Anthony Travel is selling packages that includes tickets. Has anyone used them before? I can't imagine they are going to get a large chunk of those 17,000. I put a deposit down to get in a drawing for the right to purchase a package including hotel and tickets, but have no idea what my odds are.

Flight is booked and I'll just be staying with a friend of mine down there, so I'm trying to use the reasoning that because I saved money on the hotel I can spend that money on tickets! Just gotta hope I win the student lottery, or my dad wins the parent lottery. We shall see!
