Now I'm pissed I didn't make the short drive to the game. Tix were sub 50 last night when i looked. Didn't want to deal with the weather, didn't want to go solo, and didn't want to stay sober if I did go due to the drive back. Now I wish I would have praise Book.

Overall I loved what the D did. It's not that LSU is an offensive juggernaut but they are better than years past. This bowl, and this team just felt so much different than in years past on the D side of the ball. Coney is a freakin stud.

On the O... Boykin proved he should be getting more snapps. Too bad it took arrests and BS for it to happen. Thought he was going to get more targets after the NC game, but nope. I hope BK doesn't wait to long open things up officially in term of QB competition. Book clearly made a statement that he can effectively lead this team. Will be interesting next year. Just wish Phil was an EE. Hope BW goes to work out with a QB guru that can fix his brain or whatever is wrong.

Feels so good right now to be Irish, even in this crappy weather here in FL. Loved seeing UCF take Auburn out. If that doesn't create some dialog about an 8 team playoff I don't know what will. Undefeated, and beat a team that beat the number 3 and 4 CFP teams. Hope to see both UGA and Bama go down tonight.

Thank you dear Lord for blessing BK with the knowledge and balls to make the QB change before it was too late.

My only negative comment I have is that Jalen Elliott may be the worst safety to play for us in years. I honestly can't remember a safety as bad as him. Can't wait to never see him next year.

I've been shaking my head too, but not sure if I'd say "worst". Thought we'd see more Robertson, or that they would shift Studstill or Vaughn.

Well we now know the best way to end a season that ends in (regular season) disappoint is to play LSU in a bowl game.
Also ND beats teams from the AAC, the ACC, the MAC, the B1G, the PAC-12, and now the SEC. 6 different conferences.

What a great season and great turnaround from last year.

We beat more conferences this season than we won games last season.

Story of this game is guys seizing opportunities when their numbers were called. #2 gets 2 carries and no reason he isn’t getting more . #12 stepped up #81, #13 good to see the future is brighr.

Only bad spot i saw was 21. Elliot hopefully is replaced by an incoming freshman. He got stiff armed 2x and missed tackles

Overall such a great season. The Miami and Stanford games still hurt but it felt good to know we could hang with anyone as long as we played well.

The Citrus Bowl is not a NY6 Bowl. Rose, fiesta, sugar, orange, cotton and Peach are the NY6 bowls.

Guys and Girls Notre Dame is going to end the season in the top 10!

Great start to the new year. Couple of hiccups along the way, but we have the talent to compete at a high level. Hope we continue to build on this season and moving forward. I'm impressed by some of the young guys performances out there.

Granted it wasn’t an NY6 game but it’s a game in a much higher level than all the other bowls we have won in the last 10 years. Happy we won a NY bowl game... not happy this is were ND is, celebrating their biggest bowl win in 20 plus years in the Citrus Bowl...
