Jameis Winston cleared of wrongdoing after FSU sexual assault conduct hearing - Orlando Sentinel

Jameis Winston Cleared In FSU Code of Conduct Hearing | Bleacher Report

Florida State's Jameis Winston cleared in code of conduct hearing

Rachel Axon, USA TODAY Sports 5:42 p.m. EST December 21, 2014
In a letter to Winston which was obtained by USA TODAY Sports, Harding wrote, "This was a complex case, and I worked hard to make sure both parties had a full and fair opportunity to present information. In sum, the preponderance of the evidence has not shown that you are responsible for any of the charge violations of the Code. Namely, I find that the evidence before me is insufficient to satisfy the burden of proof."

Dear God, Bogs! That neon lime green crap, bro. I feel like an epileptic Doberman who just stared at a strobe light.

Deadspin comment from their article on Ducks/noles:

When FSU got down early, my brother, who was rooting for FSU, said Jameis Winston had the Ducks right where he wanted them.

Considering the Ducks were sober and on top, I respectfully disagreed.

Interesting...

In a new documentary film, Erica Kinsman came forward publicly with her specifics about the alleged sexual attack by Winston and allowed herself to be identified and filmed.

Her account is one of several testimonies from alleged victims of sexual abuse on college campuses to be featured as part of "The Hunting Ground," which had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Friday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The paper said she decided to go public in the film, to be aired on CNN and released in theaters, to share her side of what allegedly happened between her and Winston as well as tell her story in the context of heightening awareness of rape and harassment on campuses.

Where is he projected? Do I need to spend much time worrying about the Bears taking him?

He's projected on the Jamarcus Russell NFL career track.

Bears need to stick to defense or o-line with their #7 pick. I agree that bust potential is huge for him but GMs do crazy things.

Especially for QBs, I'd be very surprised if he's even on the board at #7 so I wouldn't worry...

I would pass on Winston. You can get lower risk options later in the draft. You want to season a rookie on the bench for a year or two anyway. Teams have too much pressure to get first round picks on the field. Unless you have a Luck/Manning type of player coming out you don't go big on QB.

QB is a moot point if your O line sucks anyway. I would much rather have a crappy QB behind a top OL than vice versa.

I like Hundley more that Winston....And you can probably get Hundley in round 2

Hell, I think Hundley and Cook have a great shot at having better careers than Mariota or Winston

I would take Winston in a second, if he wasn't such a turd bag.

Well teams that are interested in him won't have to hire PI's to do background checks. All they have to do is a Google search.
