“The guy is the most intense son of a ***** you ever met in your life,” Todd Tracey told ISD this week.
Awesome read on him as well.

Alexander loved Stanford and is looking forward to this week. Ole Miss was the first school to offer him that's where Ole Miss comes in.
Still talking and trying to get Dickerson on campus.
Chris Nelson DT from Florida trying line up academics and visit last week in Jan.
Isiah McKenzie recruitment is gonna get real fun
Trey Lealaimatafao is going to Oregon
Nelson might commit to Texas any day too.

Also Florida might be slow playing Nelson kind of like we are IMO. Waiting on McKenzie and I think he will end up at WVU. Florida gets Derrell Scott and we get IM hopefully

Why is it a secret? Since when can we not post the stuff in Intel/TV?

It wasn't a secret. Basically the breakdown of it was that the next three weeks will be interesting with McKenzie. People in South Florida think IM is Florida's to lose. It will just be an interesting three weeks because I know ND feels good and have stood by him since day 1.

If you payed 67 cents a day you could get cool secrets too =)

I actually already have ISD. Just wondering what you thought was interesting about McKenzie that we didn't already know. Thought I either missed something or you had another source on the subject.

I know it's a long shot but man I'd love to get Chris Nelson. Hope we can get him on campus. I think he's the most intriguing of the recent DT offers. Most Dickerson-like, maybe, with true inside/outside potential.

Damnit I was trying to give you a hard time. I miss read Christian thing when he said he thinks it will get interesting. But it probably will, South Florida kids just do recruiting differently.

In all seriousness, what's the play here? Are we hoping his father feels better or something? I thought this was strictly a family issue.

In all seriousness, what's the play here? Are we hoping his father feels better or something? I thought this was strictly a family issue.

The thing is, the dad has prostate cancer, and, as I can tell you from people in my family who have had it and as others on the board have written, prostate cancer is often easily treatable and doesn't even prevent you from working during the treatment. Now, we don't know how serious Dickerson's dad's condition is, and we do know that that isn't the only issue -- Dickerson's mom is also disabled.

So, without knowing at all how likely we are to succeed and understanding that we may be very unlikely to succeed, I think the play is to stay in touch, show how great an opportunity ND is, and hope that, as he continues to consult with doctors and other family members, he decides that his dad's health issues are not serious enough to impact his college decision.

But again, that's without knowing for sure how serious the family issues are ... it may be that I have the facts wrong, that his dad is gravely ill and that anyone would want to stay closer to home under the circumstances as they actually stand.

All have a chance to sign with ND which is why they list them.
Final predictions include with likelihood they would sign with ND: Cage ND, Quick ND, Alexander Stan, Garnett OK, Juju USC

What else was in Intel this week?

If McDowell or Evans commit to MSU we have a good shot with Cage

Garnett committed to OK last night to secure his spot but will still visit ND.

American Heritage understood what ND did with IM and still want to create a pipeline with ND.

Hendrix and Brown aren't coming to ND

No mention of a mystery recruit

Come on, there's always a signing day "mystery recruit" whether there is one or not. Personally I hate "signing day surprise" news because for us it's usually not a good surprise.

Correct. ND has never finished with a flourish. We had a recruit here and there but that's it.

i was asking in reference to the offensive playmaker that would flip now that IM is out...not about the notorious mystery recruit creature that only is talked about days before signing day

Not many teams rely on reeling in more than 1 or 2 guys on NSD.

Hell, LOTS of teams probably aren't in it for ANYONE who is choosing on NSD.

Only time I can think of a team having huge success with multiple guys is maybe FSU a couple years ago?

I thought Ole Miss landed a few last year on NSD. I believe the staff already knew about most of them but the "offical" announcements were NSD.
