Again this is a guess, but, number of 2013 recruits coming to USC game.

Sorry, was this covered earlier? I apologize if I'm rehashing something that has been discussed. That isn't a bad guess, NDdomer2. I guess the prohibition on coaches discussing recruiting only applies with regard to specific recruits, not classes in general? Was an interesting snippet to hear, because I couldn't immediately match it up with anything.

If it was discussed earlier I didn't catch it. My guess was based off only thing I could think of with around that number of "commitments" and this trip for Kelly was more about recruiting than being on tv. It seemed we gave alot of '13 offers out around this time too.

That's my guess as well. What else could it be? It can't be 2012 silent verbals since: (1) we don't have room for 7 more; and (2) it would make the our upcoming Recruit-a-palooza a sham.

Call me a pessimist, but something tells me Marshall, Agholor, Thompson, Poole, Stanley, and Banner aren't all silent verbals.

We had more than 7 commits by the Michigan game, and there's no way they were all soft.

Yes, I believe that is what they said. So although it is coming out for the USC game it is actually going to stay that way for as long as they can be kept that way.

I think he said "soft" rather than silent, but maybe those terms are almost interchangeable in this context. Maybe kids that are soft commits are being asked not to announce or something. I'm assuming that nobody caught that segment on TV, right? Because if anyone saw it they could help us with whether that comment made it on the air, and what he was referring to.

USC GAME.. It's tough to watch but it actually makes me feel better about the loss. These kids did not give up.. They shot themselves in the foot.. again.

IMO if BK can't rebuild this program no one can.
