Was watching an NFL game this weekend and Joseph Barksdale's name came up after he was called for a hold. That was some nostaligia.

Whatever happened to TP? He just kinda fell off the face of the earth after he tried to start his website. He seemed to have some really good inside information on the team. Also, does anyone know who his sources were? Current players, coaches, someone else?

I’m wondering if his sources had an experation date because his sources either graduated or left.

Are you talking about the Armsteads? They're brothers but not twins. I remember the rumour being that they were thinking about committing/transferring at one point.

Yes that was it, they where coming with Gunner and the brother somehow couldn’t transfer from SC.

I think we still have some posters that are pretty reliable with inside info. Lax being one of them. IM8 always seems to know things but I wished he would post more. IrishInLA or something like that always had info as well. Idk if he posts anymore though. He's someone else that I wish would post more.

I remember dropping in for some recruiting info and I ended up spending most of my night reading his page long rant and waiting for reactions. Good stuff.

NDinLA went scorched-fucking-earth on Bogs (and I think at least one other poster) and then banned himself/quit being a mod.

The dude from St Louis did it when he first joined- I remember him ripping on OMM and a few others. He did stop doing it, turned things around, and became a solid poster (he was one of the subscription guys too and brought a lot of that info to the board).

No Ragrets.

There were a few posters I did (still do) have little respect for and find no reason to cower to them like much of the board did at that time, the board was ran but a select few playground bullies. That did relax mightily as years went on. Still believe it just stopped saying it.

STLDomer. He still pops in on occasion. Man I forgot that he came in guns blazing. He was the OG Koon.

I remember him. Believe he changed his name a few time after some terrible info. ND=NC

I can remember the days when IE was on the brink of disaster, Louis Nix saved the day. All the dbags on Gold helmet can suck it, not even sure if it exists anymore. All the mods do a great job here now.

2016 was the last time, so it's been a few.
Golden and Clashmore used to do them, but neither are around anymore.

Kelly has definitely changed his approach since then, and its paid off. Only complaint would be being in it with more top 50 recruits at the end of the cycle but that will probably come with winning. If we can't start to consistently get elite talent after the last couple years we aren't going to take the next step.

We haven't had any in two years IIRC. Too much bickering, posters feeling slighted, etc., etc. I am quite happy without them.

What we could do, is have awards for ND and CFB. We could vote on our own MVP, Most Improved, DPOY, OPOY, etc.

Then we could have one for all of CFB minus ND players. Firm up the categories, then open up for nominations.
