Penn State's highest rated commit, RB Miles Sanders has scheduled an official visit to Michigan State for the weekend of Jan 29th.

Sanders is rated as the #40 player in the country and the #2 RB on the 247Composite. Strong indication he might flip to the Spartans.

Another one of their commits, 4*, 247Composite Top 250 player DE Daniel Joseph has contacted Michigan to gauge their interest in him, an official might be set up soon.

Penn State turning into a dumpster fire under Franklin. Couldn't happen to a better group of people IYAM.

It's a beautiful thing!

Penn State fans reap what they sow. Remember this:

link

“You can print this: You can print that I don’t really give a [expletive] what the ‘Paterno people’ think about what I do with this program. I’ve done everything I can to show respect to Coach Paterno. Everything in my power. So I could really care less about what the Paterno faction of people, or whatever you call them, think about what I do with the program. I’m tired of it.

“For any ‘Paterno person’ to have any objection to what I’m doing, it makes me wanna put my fist through this windshield right now.”

He continued:

“I’m trying to field the most competitive football team I can with near-death penalty [expletive] sanctions. Every time I say something like that and somebody prints it, it’s skewed as an excuse. And I’m not an excuse-maker. I’m trying to do the best I can for the kids in that program. That’s all I care about is the kids in that program. As long as I’m the head football coach here.”

It was during this rant that O’Brien dropped the major bomb.

“That’s why, in probably about a month, they’re gonna be [expletive] looking for a new coach.”

Like I said, couldn't happen to a group of better people. O'Brien would've done some amazing things there. He scared me. Glad they are stuck with Franklin for now. My only hope is the administration doesn't catch on to what a shit coach he actually is and can him for something better.

and it continues... Penn State commit 3* DT Michael Dwumfour taking an official visit to Michigan this weekend.

Something is up. Lots of kids in their class straight up looking around for other options.

I did some snooping, and found that Adam McLean, who I believe was at one time committed to PSU in the '15 class, has been semi-disgruntled towards his former "team," and is now saying (via Twitter) that he heard some inside info that would make all PSU recruits question their commitments.

At first I thought it was just an immature kid trying to sound like he's in the know about a team he got spurned by... but now, maybe there is something going on that's starting to get around.

Hopefully Shane Simmons takes notice and gives ND a look before its too late.

Deleted all the posts that involved unnecessary race talk, as well as poster beef. Both are unnecessary.

Pouring more gas on the dumpster fire. Love it!

I wish I knew. I just know that a kid that was committed to PSU at one time in a previous class became disgruntled and then decommitted. A year later, he claims to have heard something that would seriously harm PSU's recruiting if it got out. And now, PSU seems to be on shaky ground with a few of its biggest recruits, just before NSD. It could be a coincidence, but I love a good conspiracy, so I'm gonna assume that some type of shadiness is beginning to get out.

Penn State's recruiting strategy

That's 100% a violation, and not even sure if secondary. There was a school that got in trouble simply for flashing a recruit up on the video board.

that's a pretty bold, blatant violation. There is no way for them to spin it as accidental or oh we didn't know the rule.

I don't blame Franklin for it, bc let's be honest NCAA ain't gonna do jack about it.

Penn State has some cajones doing that considering they were inches away from the death penalty being handed down to them by the NCAA just a few years ago. Looks to me like an administration that's motto is pretty much zero fucks given.

Urban Meyer got a minor violation for putting a recruit's name on a Jumbotron before he signed. I know other people have gotten in trouble at basketball games. But PSU "vetted" this? What?

Hill apparently may have signed some sort of financial aid agreement when he was a commit to PSU (before he rescinded his commitment). There's speculation that his signature makes it a non-violation.

No link because I'm mostly seeing it in "comments" sections. But that might be what the "vetting" was that people are talking about.

Just curious what everyone hates about PSU so much?

I look at them as one of the "Raiders" of college football. Like ND, it's better when they are relevant. That was got to be a tough job to have the last few years.

I dislike PSU strictly because I dislike Franklin. Oh, and they enabled serial child rape and have fans that still refuse to own that fact.
