Is it surprising Hartman would still be on campus if he is opting out?

It's not like they'd kick him off campus (not that he lives on campus). I'm sure he's free to hang around, work out, do whatever, and sure could be helping the team prepare even if he's not playing.
Also classes/exams are still going. I assume he takes part in some form of academics?

A walk-on at Georgia who gave up a [potential] six-figure career in big pharma to pursue his passion in exercise science. He has the passion and knows how to motivate, working in multiple college sports as he rose through the ranks.

MF went from Purdue to Cinci somewhere in 2016-17... Campbell seems to have done the opposite going from Cinci to Purdue right around that timeline. Not sure if there was any overlap.

Nearly doubling?? Pete Sampson in the preseason was saying ND should try to aim for tripling.

Yeah, I think the old NBC deal was for around $25 million. So doubling that plus last year's ACC distribution ($17.4 million) gets ND to around $67 million.

This year's B1G distribution (for the 11 members who are getting full cuts) was $58.8 million. Next year under the new deal it's projected to be about $73 million (per something called Navigate). So that's actually closer than I first thought.

If those figures are true damn it. Better than I thought

Well, the catch is that the B1G and SEC are projected to have significant escalators year over year that will take them north of $100 million before the new deals end.

Does ND's deal match that type of growth or does the gap start small and get bigger each year?

Congrats to Michael Stonebreaker who was officially inducted into the CFB HOFTue night.

One of my all-time favs. Still kicking it in NOLA where he had an iced coffee company at last check. His dad Steve Stonebreaker was a LB w/ the Lions & then taken by the Saints in the expansion draft. Sadly, he committed suicide later in life.

Come on man, we all know the answer to that.
