i guess. anyone who is our second leading returning RB (300+ yards and 4 or more TDs last year) is not a newcomer to me though. I think they just picked guys they wanted to award, and fit them into categories lol.

They could have made up another new category for him. He was more of an "impact player of the year" than Claypool. Book was more of a "newcomer" than Dex.

if i was to pick the newcomer, it would have been Jafar.

This guy that goes muddin' doesn't have any Gucci belts.. He sticks with Cole Haan, Johnston & Murphy, Coach, Shinola, and Lucchese :). Quality over bling brother.

Book.... did everything fine except for those ankles...

All a waste of money except Cole Haan which I see at TJMaxx/Marshall's for $15-$20.

Here's a lil secret: Best deal in quality belts is Allen Edmonds. For some reason, they make belts for under $50 that the other like brands want 2-3x that for.

As for wallets, I must swear by Coach. I bought myself a black bi-fold for graduation in '89. Still have it, looks great even though it survived being left on my ATV trailer while filling up gas cans on the way to Glamis. It fell off onto I-10, a 100 miles away in the middle of the desert. It was run over enough times that my old Autotrader AMEX's account # is permanently embossed into the leather. Someone somehow found it on the shoulder while changing a flat tire and returned it to my house. What are the odds? Even crazier, the guy who found it lived 5 minutes from me.

The CH stuff you see at TJM/Marshalls aren't typically the quality you find at the CH stores. I've tried the TJM/M stuff out thinking I found a bargain. Didn't... I have several CH, Coach, and Lucchese belts that are 5-10 years old. One of the CH is at least 15. I've got both CH and Coach wallets. A few also 5-10 years old. Replaced them not because they were worn out, just wanted something new. I always go back to one specific CH when I go to the beach. It's been through hell and still rocks. Most belts and wallets were bought at factory stores or outlets. Wouldn't spend full retail. Some were gifts.

Ha d a friend who worked retail. He told me the major brands have lower quality stuff they sell thru TJM and Marshalls (outlets in general). Occasionally you will see true oversights, but mostly the outlet places are selling outlet stuff.

Yup. I've done a lot of tech for retailers over the years. Learned a lot of useless info lol... Polo/RL for instance pumps out stuff just for TJ/M.

The factory outlets are a mixed bag. You can tell what's made mass for them, and what is not. If brands have factory outlets all over the place, it's one thing. If only a couple near HQs, it's another. Lululemon for instance had only two factory stores when we did an infrastructure forklift for them years back. All of their stuff at the outlets were the real deal. Lucchesse is another. They have only 3 outlets, all in EP.

I mean, I've gotten cheap shirts and shorts there. I don't like dropping crazy money on clothes, so in as much as I avoid that, I'm getting a "deal".

I've picked up a number of shoes and jerseys and such for a fraction of the normal price in the past... you have to get lucky though.

True story: The day my youngest was born there was a Ross across the street from the hospital. I just thought, "while my wife and little one are sleeping I'm going to head across the street, I think it's my lucky day." I'm a big Celtic FC fan in soccer, and their jerseys are hard to find in the states. If you can find them they usually go about 90 dollars. I walk in the door and I kid you not the discount rack at the front door, very first thing I see in the entire store when I walked in, a brand new Celtic FC jersey, my size exactly, discounted for 20 bucks.
