Montana probably has the most yards for ND. Thurman Thomas was a 4 time bridesmaid for OK State.

Oops, just remembered Rocky Bleier...

I would have said PSU off the top of my head just because of Franco Harris.

Ricky Watters actually has more yards than Bettis. Watters had 47 yards in the SB against the Chargers.

Can you imagine if Kurt Warner went to as many SB's as Brady? He's got Northern Iowa at #4 in 3 games.

Guessing ND is primarily Montana - Stanford is Elway - LA Tech ? - Tennessee is Manning - Navy is Staubach - Purdue is Brees - UCLA is Aikman - Miami can think of a lot but don't know SB ones (Testaverde?)

+ Lamonica, Theisman and Buerlein.

* Oops, was thinking Buerlein took the Raiders to a SB but it was Gannon. He won a SB as Aikman's back up.

Wasn’t Jim Plunkett a Stanford guy? He was in at least one SB, maybe 2.

SI's Andy Staples just published his most recent Punt, Pass & Pork in which he describes three CFB rules he'd change and one he wouldn't.

Can't disagree with any of those. But also is Random Ranking nails it. If you ever call someone Champ, Boss or Chief you might as well be telling them to go fuck themselves.

On the overtime thing, I would just propose a change to the NFL rule:

1. If the first team doesn't score, the next score wins (as it is now).

2. If the first team to possess the ball kicks a field goal or scores a touchdown, the second team gets a chance to match or surpass.

This would drastically change NFL teams' overtime strategies, but also add some intrigue... it would probably be advantageous to elect to kick the ball to start OT, that way you know what you have to do, but you'd also have to consider the 15-minute clock, and decide whether giving up precious TOP in a single quarter of play is worth the advantage.

It might also help reduce the chance of games ending in ties, as you'd probably see a lot of the teams scoring second in an OT period going for the two-point conversion, since it's at the 3-yard-line, rather than going for the extended-range XP.

Get rid of overtime for anything but Playoff games.

Why don't we just turn the NFL into the Sarcastaball league then? Instead of winners and losers, everyone can just be polite.

Was it someone on here that came up with the idea of tiered stating position in OT. Start the 1st OT at the 25, and move it back as the OTs progress.

I seriously thought you meant to put "Farce" before you went back and fixed it

Hahaha! No, I met him one time at a coaching clinic when I went with my Dad and he was a really good guy. I had always thought he was a jerk based on what I had read, but he was really down to Earth and friendly. He went to eat that night with my Dad and I and he even paid! Haha, of course it was at the Beau Rivage Casino, so he probably had it comped, but nevertheless a nice jesture.

both 2018 and 2019 are correct, the link that was provided takes you straight to 2020 schedule

Okay, I gotta go to bed!!! Was up all night because my neighbor has stage 4 cancer and she lives alone. She had a very rough day and night and since she is on Hospice care, she can’t go to the hospital. The Hospice nurse was rude and told me to tell her to just go to sleep and she would be alright. Anyway, I looked at the secedule without looking at the dates, Hahahaha! The way I looked at it, the last game was the first. I am the first to admit, I’m a dummy sometimes. Thanks all and since the Hospice nurse decided to come this morning, I am going to hit the bed and catch some
Sleep!!!
