It all likelihood, he's going to be criticized no matter what he does by the people who don't like him. I don't particularly care for him, but I don't hate on the guy like so many.

Depending on how the manager structures the team, the shooting order may well have been determined prior to the match. I'd be curious to know more about that.

I don’t get the hate for any of the top players in this World Cup.
The biggest Prima Donnas have been able to back it up with unbelievable skill. Honestly just a joy to watch Messi, mBappe, Neymar, etc. play in this tournament. (Ronaldo too but he’s clearly lost a step)

I think the hate stems more from who you feel is the best in the world is, which doesn't really matter. Messi and Mbappe have been great this cup. Neymar, he's had his moments, but I haven't been as impressed with him.

As much as it pains some people, Fernandes has been Portugal's best player this cup.
