I was in the military, so yes I can take it and dish it back. As far as a minority goes I'm Irish and German. Just depends on one's perspective these days. We're all Irish fans so that is all that counts for me.

First Team All-Deserted Island

Whiskey: Because when we find our way off the island, and discover that King Trump has laid waste to the land, we need a leader for the rebuild.

Wooly/Koon: This is a package deal. Counts as one. Wooly is included because he came up with the game and can fish for our food stuffs. Koon is included to keep up group morale with dumb questions and battles of wit with Wooly.

NDinLA/Bogs: Another package deal that counts as one. I'm cheating. I need to see these two personalities meet in person. Just to see.

Gk: Because it's lit, fam. And I need someone to talk about "Back Home" with, although he is a transplant will soon bore me with his knowledge.

Wiz: Because I want to know all of the deep, dark rumors and secrets from Connecticut, and because he takes Koon's place as Wooly's favored target when Koon inevitably gets himself killed in the wild.

Gattaca: Because I need "It's Always Sunny" references on the daily, and also because I think he truly is Rafi, and I need to see him yell "GATTACA!!!" at least twice a day at random. Also, pocket dogs.

GBDomer: Because his casual, chill, usually-don't-give-a-f*ck attitude would be a nice reprieve from all of the personality clashing.

Greyhammer: Because the island needs a "Funniest Islander"

ND Fan Vancouver: Because the island will need the eternal optimism, and because we will need someone at which to direct our frustrations in our darkest hour... who will then simply ask "Why do you all hate each other so much? Go Irish!" And we won't be able to beat him down for his optimism in our dark hours, because he hasn't been around long enough for us to know his weaknesses... yet.

NDCrusader: Because Bogs will need someone that can keep up in terms of his multitude of stories and connections to seemingly everything that is ever discussed on the board. Eventually, their "neighbor's brother's friend's sister's former mailman knew that knew John Stockton pretty well back playing ball in high school" will end up being the same person, the Space-Time-Continuum will rip itself to shreds from the degrees-of-separation being too interconnected, and we will all be hurled back through time and space to the moment before takeoff, and I will casually slip away from the boarding gate.

Except for Koon. He saw the propeller going down and convinced Acamp to help him steal the planes two parachute packs. But Acamp read the directions and Koon just winged it.

Acamp is now making everyone pineapple shrimp stir fry and Koon is shark stir fry.

Whiskey - He's got excellent taste in video games, I like his style and the cut of his jib.

I'd be sure to have a Johnny in my cadre. A TP, too, as a complement.

A couple of older than my dirt companions in OMM and BGIF would be nice.

Koon would be good – young and malleable. He could do the heavy work at the direction of The Old Coot Squad.

Bogs would be good. A voice droning on and on next to a fire at night to facilitate sleep might be handy. And the peat would come in handy for the fires.

Speaking of fires, I'd take at least two of the pit masters. I'm taking bids and staging a Smoke-Off.

The Dear Deer is a gimme. Twisted wit is a rare, highly valued commodity. "That's Entertainment!"

Lax could prove handy. An airport is a good thing to have on a desert island.



All in all, though, I'd rather be stranded on a dessert island.

Creme Brulee, Flan, Chocolate Mousse, Cherry Garcia, etc., etc., etc.

My apologies to those I've left behind on the mainland.
