So Irish w out Foskey, Mayer, Pyne (meh), anyone else?

Cocks w out the O Coordinator(?), and anyone else of note? I heard their OC took a job elsewhere, true or not?
Probably Patterson.

Cam Smith, their starting CB, declared for the draft, so he's out.

Lol the status of our offense reminds me of a bit from Eugene Mirrman’s stand up comedy talking about a local band messaging him on MySpace where he replies “if you need a place to stay after the show, me too! I don’t have a home!”
“If you’re wondering what our offense is going to bring…us too! We don’t have a QB!”

Buchner starting has to be a huge positive right? He adds a huge piece to the running game and I trust him a million times more throwing the ball than Pyne. All without even mentioning the improved OL and WR play.

I do. Wasn’t a big fan of the 50/50 chance of the ball getting passed the LOS
Can’t be 50/50 when he completed 65% of his passes.
I rather have a ball batted down once per game (which almost never get intercepted) than have multiple miss reads, overthrows (which both get intercepted) & possible injury on every snap.

Non-NY6 CFP bowl games are glorified scrimmages. Nobody cares what happens most of the time except the fans (some of them are even checked out by that point).

With that said, I really hope MF treats this like the Super Bowl, and creates a scenario where the team truly feels the game matters and the stakes are incredibly high.

It’s pretty clear right away what teams are mailing it in during a bowl, and it happens more than most people notice.

It was obviously an exaggeration.

Unfortunately, Pyne had plenty of misreads and other mistakes. He basically lost the Stanford game all by himself.

Different twist on the dreaded backup QB syndrome. The who doesn't play has to be better than the one who does. Even if he never was when he did.

I think the day before the game, someone should jack knife semi full of Divinity on I-95 in Georgia.
I love me some Pizza Port. Go to the one in San Clemente.

Is the ND Club watching the game at Silky Sullivans?

I guess there are three locations now but yes, that's where I've watched it since I lived over there in 2014-17.

That's where the original Pizza Port is. We'll make a pilgrimage there for at least one meal.

Phone's already blowing up about going up to Orange County and watching with the ND Club of OC instead.

I'm exhausted already.
You ever hit Spirito’s in Carlsbad? The original location is where I’m from. Opened 100 years ago, sadly recently closed.
