Saved me a lot of money getting the Gator Bowl over the Holiday Bowl. I'm in Carlsbad from the 23rd through the 2nd. Woulda had to have taken 4 heavy drinkers to the game and tailgate.

A lot of guys typically sitting out in bowl games, I see a handful for this game as well. At the end of the day ND isn’t playing for anything and their starting QB most of the season is gone. As much as I want to win I rarely put much stock in bowl games. With Buchner I don’t expect much.

South Carolina is the weakest team of about anyone else we could have drawn (Ole Miss, Miss St, Oregon, UCLA) IMO. They of course are not bad, as this is a bowl game, but I wouldn’t categorize them as good either. Have to see what happens when the dust settles with regards to the NFL and transfers for both sides.

It’s two of like the 10 teams that seem to care quite a bit about Special Teams and should neutralize itself then.

I would go. I couldn't go to the Music City bowl, which is about an hour away. I had to work and always regretted not trying to get out of it.
