Silly idea to bring Schwarber in at this point.

Did yoiu watch the posfseason last year? 5 hrs . . . I'll take him over our other options even though may be good ones. Not to !euon the motivation factor for the team

Most importantly, the Indians starters are all RH's.

Watched it all.

He's welcome to come sit in the dugout and cheer but to put him on the roster after missing the entire season is cray-cray. Hasn't faced a ML pitcher since April.

I will pass

You real a lot into that/ NOt questioning anyone.

Offering MY opinion. Almost every Cubs fan i've talked to says the same.

That's odd, every Cub fan I know is on Cloud 9.

I'll side with Theo. He better than anyone who's ever done this. He's Billy Beane with Brian Cashman's checkbook.

Did just fine facing MLB pitching for the first time last yeasr when he was called up. First two games against the Indians no less he was 6-9 with a HR, triple and 4 RBI's. I think he will be just fine.

I love the move, don't think it will hurt at all and can you imagine the lift this team will get if he sends a bomb over the fence? The guy is an extremely talented ball player, who competes at the highest level. I see this working out very well for the Cubbies.

Where's the odd part? Every fan i know is crazy excited as well, but thinks KS is not really a smart move. If he makes the WS roster, i hope to be proven wrong.

You mean when he played every day at a higher level than the Fall league and had seen pitches from MLB pitchers?

END OF THE DAY

GO CUBS

That's fair enough, still really like the move.

And agreed, GO CUBS, 4 MORE WINS!

It's odd that every one of my friends think it's a good move and most of the people you have talked to think the opposite. That's all. Not saying you're wrong. I can see the cons. That big lefty power for possibly four games in Cleveland means a lot considering the Indians starters are all RH's and Rizzo is their only big bat from that side.

Cbs and Washington post did the same thing. And they wonder why we hate all things cubs.

Because it's the Cubs fault these guys can't do their job? Seems justified.

It's silly, but it's true that Cubs fans don't (mostly) care about Sox wins, and vice-versa. But both of them likely follow the Bulls, Bears, and Blackhawks (mostly).

When I compare NY championships to Boston or Philadelphia or whatever I only include the 4 teams I root for.

That being said, ESPN can't just do what they did.
