OL blocking got much worse with the big online patch.
Yeah, I know ND’s OL isn’t rated the greatest, but no way should Navy’s DL be getting 4+ sacks before I’ve had time to get to my second read on a play

Clearly haven't played enough to see the lineman down field penalty called on RPO's, jetpack LB's, insane INT's that are physically impossible, or the worst of all the random pitches/fumbles that pinball around.Speak for yourself. It’s a blast and a half and I’m having a ton of fun playing pretty much all the game modes including ultimate team
Can confirm all these things, especially the linemen downfield on RPOs and insane INTs. I tend to lob throws more to get the ball over the defenses head, unless of course the coverage is deep.Clearly haven't played enough to see the lineman down field penalty called on RPO's, jetpack LB's, insane INT's that are physically impossible, or the worst of all the random pitches/fumbles that pinball around.
Big reason why I quit the PS5 dynasty is because this game is Maddem. I hate Madden so damn much and it hurts me that I can't enjoy playing college football again like I did with 14’.This is Madden lol. I built up a Speed Rusher on my team, he would consistently blow by LTs like this all the time. I was breaking my own Sack record each season, and ended up getting into the Top 5 in Sacks for a career. Pissed my buddies off anytime I would play them. Would have eventually been #1, but the Franchise died. They really did just take the Madden engine and throw a college paint job on it.

This must explain why on day 1 I ran the table. Now I can’t get past Louisville. Ben Mo gets lit up against the UL receiver so bad there’s like 5 feet between them on every pass. I can’t stop the guy.OL blocking got much worse with the big online patch.
I run at least 5 RPOs a game that end up being passes and haven’t been called for a single one in road to CFB playoff. And I play too much so I would have seen it by now. Maybe it’s a game mode specific issue.
I’m already a couple seasons deep in a ND dynasty and completed two RTG careers. It’s a goofy game but so was the previous iterations
That was peak gaming for me. But thats beside the point... This version feels like a skinsuit of a way better game. There are just so many bugs. It actually pisses me off how incomplete this game feels. The feeling of the old games though...
I used to love recruiting, but I really hate it in this game.
It's hard for me to keep track of and find recruits. Not a friendly setup at all.
It's probably the main reason it didn't hold my interest.
Clunky is a good term... and confusing. It's sort of a "careful what you wish for" thing, because I think EA put some thought into creating a more in-depth recruiting system but the issue is that 1) people didn't really want that and 2) they just figured out how to exploit it anyway. So now you have a system that is broken in a competitive sense, and is clunky too.
Just turn on auto recruiting. I turn on auto and then focus on a few recruits I care about and let the CPU handle the rest.Clunky is a good term... and confusing.
I lack the time and patience to figure it out.
I agree. It’s been my go to game since its release. Love the online dynasty mode. Is it perfect no. Would like to see what changes they’ve made to it for 26.I’ve played CFB 25 way more than I’d like to admit. I’m excited for this one. I’m interested to see what changes they’ve made to recruiting and wear & tear on players.
