I'm the no.2 wr in road to glory and I've played 2 snaps in 6 games. I win position battles and don't play in the actual games.

Only playing on varsity because the new passing mechanic frightens me, and the switch stick on defense is like a foreign language.

11 years of muscle memory on the NCAA14 controls is gonna be a bitch to break lol

Having said that: first game was stomping USC, and yes, Love was unstoppable on wheel routes out of the backfield

Started playing as the OC at Liberty to try running the option and found it’s going to be more difficult than I thought to mirror the offense of old I use to run in ‘14. After dimming through the season I decided to start again fresh with Toledo as the OC and so far so good. I have to practice the option a lot more before I’m going to get the hang of it but finding the right playbook and plays within will be key.

Don't shame me, but I grew up in a household without video games (hell we didn't have cable until I was in high school), so these things are foreign to me. However, in college I loved playing NCAA on my roommates Xbox, regardless of how bad I was. Because I won't let my son be like me, for someone who wants to play this is it Xbox or PS5? Which do you all recommend?

I’ve always been a PS guy so I would lean to the PS5.

What difficulty?

I’m getting my ass beat by the CPU. I’m playing on All American with Georgia Southern

I was always a PS guy (I'm 42) and had several iterations of it starting with PS1 (I've never had a PS5 though). Last year, my son bought a Xbox series X (mostly cuz it was $150 off at the time). To me, it's a similar argument as iPhone vs. Android, Mac vs. PC. People have their personal preference, and that's fine. One may do something slightly better than the other, but at the end of the day, they are both good systems.

If you're interested in playing more than just NCAA, I'd look at the game options as not every system has every game.

The biggest thing for me was getting used to the new controller layout (which, I'm still not). I had 15 years of PS controller muscle memory and button selecting. I've played madden sparsely for a year and still have to look down and see which buttons are which on the pre-snap route selection.

The PS5 is more popular which means you can find the Xbox at a lower cost.

I personally have always enjoyed the Playstation more.

Worst "glitch" I've seen is that wideouts will go into motion and get hung up on tight ends or running backs lined up off the LOS. Most of the time it just looks really stupid and causes you to run some extra play clock while the CPU muddles through. A couple of times it's permanently gotten hung up and I had to call a time out to avoid a delay of game (because the game won't hike the ball until the motion is complete)
