Perhaps I need to start a new thread for this, but since there is no cross-play, and there is already a PS5 group, I'm curious if anyone on Xbox might be interested in a Dynasty league?

That's really the only negative thing I've seen. Giant IE dynasty would have been awesome.

Was thinking the same thing and gonna start a thread tonight.

Sounds super detailed for the dynasty mode which is good and bad for me. I guess my days of having 15 five stars and 10 four star recruiting classes enrolling at ND are over

Who am I kidding, in 2013 I was single with no kids. In 2024 I’m married and have two kids, I’m probably never even going to have time to play this damn game

You will find some time I promise. Had one kid before and have two now and I will find some time to run all over my IE brethren on PS5!

I don't really remember this feature, as I was 9 and I was way more concerned making sure I equally distributed 3 TDs a piece to Samardzija, Stovall, McKnight, and Walker each game during the season

The gameplay actually kind of turned me off, graphics wise and gameplay looks good but it looks like it has a lot of moving parts. I just want to destroy Michigan and hit some buttons to pass the ball.

I'm expecting the gameplay to be difficult for many. 10 years without a college game, many didn't play Madden in its absence or stopped playing Madden, and the general public's understanding of X's & O's has increased greatly in the last decade.

All of this was pulled from the Gameplay Deep Dive:

*Managing wear & tear
*Understanding RPO's (read/peek vs. alert/glance)
*Option button work - quick pitch, strong pitch, fake pitch, pull ball down
*Separate read/pitch key options for defenders
*Changing and disguising secondary looks from the play-call screen and before the snap
*80 different mental and physical abilities at platinum, gold, silver, and bronze levels
*Pre Snap Recognition and its effects on inexperienced players and coach's
*Field General abilities to recognize blitzers
*12 unique hot routes with custom stem length adjustments
*Revamped passing mechanics
*Switch Stick for secondary defenders and defensive linemen
*Deeper playbooks with trick plays and defensive learning from trick plays
*Utilizing Turbo tempo
*Real Time Coaching adjustments from AI
*6 passing protection schemes

I think it'll be a lot to manage for people who were used to easily dominating in old college games, even on All-American or Heisman levels.

The whole system seems to be to try and stop people cheesing online which is kinda pointless because people will always find a way to abuse whatever mechanic they can no matter what devs do. Like they have like 130 playbooks but within a week of online play the meta will be established that perhaps 2 or 3 are most advantageous and 99% of players will just use them
