College kids having fun, I doubt they were insulting the religion.
I'm a bit testy because my best friend just joined the Convent and her mother and I are still grieving. But even outside of that, I'd disapprove of the kids dressing up in faux habits. There's just nothing good coming from that, even if it's not in mockery.

Need more Slayer and less idiots dressing up as nuns
Can’t believe they don’t play the Halloween/Michael Myers chilling theme song every time Michael Mayer makes a play. It would only be through this season obviously but still add to his hype in the Mackey Award chase. He’s gonna need all the extra hype he can get to beat ESPN & Brock Bowers.

It's the sort of cringey bullshit that got Stanford's band barred from campus. They may just be thoughtless undergrads, but the fact that they keep getting away with it indicates that no one is pulling them up short for it, which doesn't speak well of the culture on campus at the moment.

Lord knows I'd be offering them some "fraternal correction" were I still in Keenan Hall.
I thought it was Dunne hall doing it

If you all recall, Clemson's DC stated leading up to tahe game that (i'm ad-ibbing) "the formula to stop ND isn't hard to understand; stop the run and stop 87."

Well coach, you're not wrong, but you are the most recent team on a growing list who struggled to do it over a full 4 quarters.

I'm loving this team's physical makeup. Did anyone else read Dabo's lips in the 4th quarter when we started pounding the rock, yet again, before Drew Pyne hit Mayer on the PA for the TD? Dabo: "We've got to try SOMETHING!" as he throws his arms in the air.

Just a glorious performance, beating an NFL front 4 by playing physical offense.

I learned my lesson on a particular Halloween night when I dressed up as a priest and we took on Michigan at the Big House...felt I was being punished. hah

They were dressed as cooks for the UNLV game. Aprons & big fluffy chefs hats.
Well the Stanford fan sits on his phone the whole game and checks his twitter/facebook apps, so I guess he's in costume too.

I missed this in real time. Not commenting on the tweet caption, but love how they physically AND mentally bullied Clemson for four quarters and then some. That’s a swagger I haven’t seen in an ND team in my lifetime.

Man, I totally missed this.

Judging by Dabo's post game presser they were not ready for what they received. To be fair, I thought Dabo was gracious in defeat. Probably don't get this kind of reaction from Saban, Harbaugh and some of the other guys out there.

Clemson players also all stayed out for the alma mater which is really classy.

At the Atlanta Olympics which I attended so long ago, when a superheavyweight weight lifter completed a big lift, they played James Brown: I FEEL GOOD! I KNEW THAT I WOULD NOW! I FEEL GOOD! I KNEW THAT I WOULD NOW! SO GOOD> SO GOOD> YOWWW!!! I FEEL GOOD!

Everybody felt "good" and ready after that. ................. just a thought about big plays. (Even better with the visual of his impossible dancing)
