Was out with the boys tonight. Proud of the lines. Both of them. Defense is king.

I had lacrosse in MD yesterday for my daughter then we continued to PA for lacrosse this morning. I’m staying with friends and of course the World Series was on last night. I opted to just peak at espn Gamecast and when I saw how the game was going I wasn’t about to turn it on for fear of disrupting karma. I can’t wait to watch it.

Yes, I was in the camp of criticizing Marcus, and it’s so awesome to see his demeanor the last few games. Last night’s energy looked awesome on video clips. What a win for him, his staff, this team and this University. Let’s keep it rolling.

Point wise, Clemson’s worst loss since 2014 when they lost to UGA 45-21. But that game was 21-21 at halftime so really a different type of beat down compared to what ND did to them.

I read a lot of “there’s gonna be a lot of orange on Saturday” comments through out the week. While tailgating, I didn’t see that many Clemson fans. Probably 100ish. Definitely not the same as Georgia or Cincinnati.

I still can’t believe the ass pounding that the OL delivered. Imagine turning down an opportunity to play on the OL for Notre Dame. Couldn’t be me.

I couldn’t have been more wrong about this game. In fact, it was the total opposite. I assumed ND defense would hold their own but didn’t expect this. I figured ND offense would struggle mightily to move the ball. But they rose to the occasion and dominated. (This OL and this run game might’ve beaten OSU that night). What a great win!

I thought ND would struggle to get passing yards.
I was right.
But also so beautifully wrong lol

Same. Best win since FSU in '93.
I could not be more impressed and more happy to have been wrong.
I watched the entire second half with a huge smile on my face. That performance gave me all the feels.

Go Irish!

I was telling the Clemson fans at work this week that I like the RB tandem ND ended up getting after Shipley chose Clemson better than Shipley. They told me I was nuts...

What an incredible win. Had to wake up this AM and check the score just to make sure it really happened.

I can't think of better corner play. Might have to back and check JLove. He had some big games
I was thinking Love too. But I don’t think he ever won’t off like Morrison did though. Especially against an opponent like that.

I went to the FSU V. U game last night. Hard Rock Stadium is pretty cool but the scene after the game wasn't. Fights broke out. Typical Miami LOL. Neither team looked great but FSU totally destroyed the U. Mario Cristobal has a lot of studs coming in but long way to go.

I missed both of the great games of the evening. I hope this solidifies ND's class. Great win for Freeman. Some damn QB should flip.

Best rushing game I've seen in a long time with dual backs. Estime and Diggs both with 100+ rushing against a D that averages allowing 88 ypg. If the Irish needed 3, 4 or 5 yards for a first down these young men behind THE best Oline in the country got it and more. Very proud of them and very glad Rees put down the playbook and told Pyne just to 'give the rock to the boyz'!

Extremely happy to be wrong about this one. Just hope we can have some consistency in what we've seen the last two weeks for the last 4 games this season. These last two weeks have been what I thought we'd see after week 1. On to Navy. Stay healthy, rape Phil and little sister and then give Lincoln the proper baptism into the rivalry. Go Irish!

Yes!! To your last point about Rees. He's finally got out of his own way and just went with what's working the last two weeks. However I will say the last TD to mayer might've been the best play call he's had in his whole career.

I wonder if they'll consider moving Tyree to slot next year, especially if they have a healthy JD Price.
