"Sorry, we didn't know it was illegal, well we did, but that was before we got caught..."

Translation in Bammer:

"Gee shucks, we done didn't know it was illegal, well maybe we'all done did, but that was done before we's done gotten caught."

LMAO!!!

I enjoyed listenting to him...however, it was a bit over board for a 8 year Old. =P
Not really that impressed. He doesnt have the compassion button. Be tough but that was a bit over/the/top for pee wee football. Parents in that state think he is a god. I'll take Kelly-same message better age group delivery. I do this with baseball and to that age group as well-I'm tough but the message to those little dudes is not the same as it is to high school guys. If I were a high school guy I would not want to play for this coach!!!!!!

All they can do is laugh it off and hope it's not them, because they're on the shortlist.

After everything that happened at OSU, why would that store have Trent Richardson's jersey on the wall?

This doesn't make sense...Let's wait till all the facts are out till everyone piles on Alabama.

Because they know the ncaa won't do anything about it. By the time they do something to oau nobody will remember the crime. Thats assuming they do anything. They players still get to play in the bowl game and just go pro after that. Why not?

Presented without comment:

At the time of the infraction, the attending officer also noted as part of the “Details” section of the speeding ticket that Richardson “STATED HIS LARGE RIMS THROW SPEEDOMETER OFF.”

By the time this is all said and done, Alabama will not have a recent national chapmionship to speak of. Book it.

I see it's taking a little while for all of the predictions from the Nostradamus' in this topic to pan out, especially given how there's been otherwise zero talk about this. Reminds me of the Julio article a few years back about him driving some pimped out vehicle that turned out to be a beaten up '97 Ford Explorer missing a window. Funny how that generated a lot of "smoke" and died down immediately

Someone tell me the lotto numbers while we're at it. Thanks.

Correct.

Bama's about to win 3-4 titles this decade. They're really scary.

In case you spent most of your time thinking of a smartass comment to post in this thread and not enough time paying attention to the NCAA, they're slow. It takes time. Sports By Brooks continues to release article after article, and picture after picture of violations committed by Alabama and that walking violation, Trent Richardson.

Surely one of the psychics in here then could tell me how long it will take for this to explode then. Tell me how this story, similar to the Julio Jones one is so special. Picture after picture even though there's been like, 2. And while we're on the subject, just how many "10" stories are there going to be. First it was Oregon, then it was TCU, then it was OSU, then it was LSU (and Auburn again) then it was Miami, and now supposedly it's Bama. Summer's over, where's this jawdropping story at?

Mark Ingram and Julio Jones were also supposedly "walking violations" back in the summer of 09. And like clockwork, that fishing story also died down immediately.

I'm just saying, I'll believe it when I see it. Because SBB or the various wannabe Auburn detectives have been less than impressive with the accusations over the past few years. It says something when the most damning thing that has happened to Alabama over the same time span with all these stories flying everywhere was a result of a self-investigation regarding textbooks.

That's actually not what you said in your initial post. Like most Alabama fans, your blind to everything that goes on around you and in your eyes, Saban can do no wrong. I hope your program gets buried.

The Miami story was the "10" then was predicted. Just because the story breaks, doesn't mean the investigation by the NCAA has started. The stories have not been broke by the NCAA genius, they've been broke by Yahoo and various other outlets. Investigations take time. Enjoy it while you have it.

Sweet, now the Alabama fan stereotyping comes into play. Makes it easy to respond =D

1. Actually mentioning the Julio Jones story in my first post was me saying I'll believe it when I see it. I figured bring up a similar story and how it ended up dead in the water would get that point across, unless you can't read between the lines and need me to flat out state it

2. Nice to see you blend the Nostadamus approach with the Sigmund Freud one, seeing how I haven't even said the word "Saban" or "coach" or anything close to it. Impressive, because it's kind of hard to praise somebody without mentioning them at all. Everybody and their grandma knows Saban is a ****. It's obvious from the way he handles press conferences and some reporter asks a dumb question. Alabama fans don't give a crap though because he isn't killing the program and he is winning. Better than nice Boy Mike Shula who couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.

3. You betcha I'm enjoying it right now. You have no idea

I do. I'm stuck in this hell hole of Mississippi right now and get the pleasure of listening to the Paul Feinbaum show for 30 minutes a day. Some of the people that call and represent the Alabama fanbase are embarrassing to listen to. One guy actually said this: "Pawl, is Penn State in Ohio or Pennsylvania?".. awkward silence. Not having any professional sports teams to divide your attention throughout the year can cause mass ignorance and a sheltered opinion of one's lone obsession. But hey, Alabama is winning, good for you. It doesn't last.

Regardless of how eager people are to stereotype people from Alabama, the Finebaum show is not a representation of Alabama or Auburn fans. It also doesn't help that all he does is stir the pot and....well, actually that's all he does. And with regulars like "Tammy" and "Charles from Reeltown" or whatever they call themselves, yeah....it's basically the Jerry Springer of radio ignoring Howard Stern

I do agree that he literally adds nothing to the show and EVERYONE just kisses his ***. Tammys Cam Newton call was epic though.
