I'm not firing him after just giving him an extension.

However, he absolutely needs to fire some coordinators. He needs that scapegoat, otherwise the heat is 100% on him.

It's obvious the culture is the problem. As long as Kelly is here the culture is here. Just like what is happening at USC right now. Lucky they are tanking our ND would be really getting beat around.

4 games into a season after we went 10-2 in the regular season last year, went to a big bowl last year, and culture is the problem? I don't think so. We do have major problems defensively right now, and the team obviously has lost their fire, but that doesn't mean the whole culture is destroyed.

Honest hypotheticals, if we fire BVG tomorrow, who becomes the D coordinator?! You can't bring someone in at this point from the outside, can you?

Samething for Kelly, if he was to get fired (I don't think it's happening in season) we wouldn't be landing a coach from another university mid season?! So do we name Sanford interim and wait until end of season?

But seriously,

Kelly keeps defending his coaches and throwing players under.

He's considering burning Brandon's redshirt?

The fuck?

No DC is better than BVG at this point.

"Dexter was the only player who played with passion"

And how does he reward him? 4 carries, maybe?

I came into the season thinking TF should get the majority of the carries. Now I'm thinking Adams 50%, Dexter 30%, Folston 20%. Haven't seen Dexter block too much yet...but maybe that's why we don't see more of him. I'm more disaapointed BK isn't finding more ways to get the ball in CJ's hands. He's terrifying to any defense.

No he an the entire staff need to be gone.
and then go get who ??? Art Bryles ? Listen Kirby Smart ain't exactly lighting up at Georgia, The fans at South Carolina are ready to disembowel Bill Muschamp ( an as I'm texting this I'm watching the UCLA DB's knock the stuffing out of the Stanford WR's ) and although LSU is 2-1 Les Myles ain't exactly on stable grounds. Look I get we're 1-3 but personally I see no one right now that I like to replace BK ! Watch what you wish for ! You might end up with Greg Schiano !

Unfortunately, the gap is going to widen with Harbaugh there.

I'd be on board for Kyle Whittingham

It's inexcusable for Bk to completely throw the players under the bus and not say one criticism of his coaches. I don't understand it.

There are options out there. Jimbo wasn't a head coach, nor was strong, nor was Dabo. Clemson Defensive Cord might be interested in a head coaching job. So many options out there that we don't have access too.

I still back BK...for now. I really believe (or hope) we would be 4-0 with a good DC. BVG is the problem. We have no idea at this point, IMO, if any of the defensive position coaches are good because they are coaching in a crappy scheme. Light, Gilmore, etc could be very good with a good DC. Replace BVG and see how things go.

That being said, if BK continues to back BVG and throw players under the bus, I will be on the fire BK bandwagon.

Probably the saddest part of today.

If people really want to get rid of BK, need legit candidates with the chops and are going to come. So many people suggest unrealistic options, coaches that aren't leaving their current spot, or coaches that are likely going to take better positions/less pressure. If there isn't a legit option you have to stick with BK.

Nobody wants him. But I would take Les Miles in a heartbeat. Let Sanford be his offensive coordinate.

The current Arkansas coach would do as well. Holtz was at Arkansas remember.

You're being naive if you think all of ND's problems will be solved just by getting rid of BVG. Kelly is the one who has recruited players who continue to get arrested and suspended which leaves holes in the roster and lack of depth. He also didn't fire his clueless DC after last season even though it was clear he wasn't the answer.

Slow down Sherm.... Les is on the downhill of his coaching career.

And Bret B would last about two weeks before his mouth got him in trouble with the school. I would hire his wife, however, to be my secretary.

Bielema? He was very successful at Wisconsin, but he struggled quite a bit after transitioning to the SEC. He's off to a 3-0 start this year, but has only played TCU. He is more defensively minded...and obviously he can coach in the Midwest. Two years ago I would have said no, but...I imagine he would rather stay at Arkansas with looser restrictions and SEC Network $$$. Interesting choice.

Bielema would be borderline erotic.

If he could bring the physical defense, and the punishing running game he had at Wisconsin, I'd probably be all for it. I also don't think he would leave the Razorbacks to come here though, not willingly. He's probably making more cash and has an easier job.

"Coaching had nothing to do with the outcome today".

I didn't even want this guy fired until I heard that line. Fuck off. Go back to Cincy.
