I haven't seen a bold predictions thread for 2016, so I thought I'd start one. Please delete if there already is one.

My bold predictions, if you can say it's one, is that the offense greatly improves in red zone efficiency.

Nyles Morgan leads the team in tackles. Max Redfield has 5+ interceptions. Tarean Folston is the leading rusher and breaks 1,000 yards.

I believe that last year I predicted that Adams would end up at LB, so that tells you about my talent at prognostication.

Here we go
ND goes 11-1 and misses out on the playoffs.
Kizer starts all the games where he is healthy
Coney finishes second on the team in tackles (behind Morgan)
Cole Luke gets picked at the end of the first round in the 2017 NFL draft.

ND finishes 10-3 by getting handled in the bowl game again. Jay Hayes is surprisingly a much better pass rusher than people think.

1) We have 3+ KR/PR TDs
2) Justin Yoon misses 2 FGs in a game (but we still win)
3) Kizer rushes for more yards than Zaire.
4) We give up less than 2 sacks per game
5) We have a top 15 rush defense.

2 1000 yard rushers -- Folston and Adams and St. Brown leads the team in receiving, capitalizing on the fact that teams double Hunter. Morgan finishes as an All American with 120 tackles and an unemployed and humiliated BVG ends up sleeping on Schmidt's couch during the 2018 season while he applies for low level HS assistant jobs in South Dakota. Pushed by Daelin Hayes and his six sacks, Trumbetti emerges and leads the team in sacks with 13, applying pressure consistently and making opposing QBs force passes to shallow routes where nickle Crawford feasts for 7 INTs. Kizer leads ND to the playoffs, with Zaire coming in for spot duty against teams that cannot match ND athleticism and finishes the season with 6 rushing and 7 passing TDs to Kizer's 7 and 24. Kizer enters draft and goes in the late 1st round and Wimbush takes the helm in 18 and wins the Heisman as a RS soph and Zaire transfers to a D2 school and leads them to a natty. Sanders returns four kicks for TDs and adds five more from the slot on the way to honorable mention all America honors. This is what my gut tells me.

Sorry. If all these happen then BVG will still have a job

Bold predictions are easy.

We go undefeated and win the natty.

We start 10 freshmen on both sides of the ball.

We beat the Longhorns despite Yoon missing two FG's. IE goes full implosion mode about Yoon's performance.
