This would be one Blue/Gold game I would pay to see with all the competition going on, finally this game will have big significance. There will be people really trying to keep their spots.

I highly doubt it will be in Indy. Could be wrong, but I just highly doubt it.

I agree. I believe it will be on campus in some fashion, possibly over the course of multiple days. There's also this:

Let me rephrase my rhetorical question....if the game is going to be indoors I'll be glad as it would be nice to avoid another 2013-like Spring game.

To answer your question, lately the game has been mid-late April. April 11th, 18th, and 25th would all be likely dates I'm guessing. If I was going to put money on a date, it's the 18th.

The 2014 version however was awesome weather-wise. Hope they keep it on campus somehow. Screw indoor nonsense.

I don't mind driving 20 minutes to the game. Bring it on!

First time I will miss a Blue/Gold game because I moved to Las Cruces, NM. I probably would not drive 4 hours from Elkhart, IN to Indy for the spring game, so I am not too upset about moving.

Is that site reputable? I don't see how they keep the game on campus with all the construction going on, but I do remember a couple years ago they just had major sections of the stadium cordoned off while they were doing renovations.

I have only visited, never lived there, but Las Cruces appears to be a very cool place. I think you will like it there.

It will be on campus because if its off campus they wont be able to recruit, which when push comes to shove, is more important than a glorified practice.

Well that shoots my "have it at Disney World" idea. That would be a great recruiting opportunity. Maybe a co-sponsored camp in Orlando or Tampa some day.

That actually would be really cool. I wouldn't be able to go but I like the concept and reasoning.

Won't be able to recruit, in what capacity? I'm not sure I understand, will they be allowed to have recruits attend but have no actual contact with them? When tOSU did their Spring Game in Cincinnati a few years ago they definitely had recruits on the sidelines for that one.

If its off campus, the staff cant connect or have contact with recruits. Notre Dame is unique bc the school/campus/environment sell itself. There isnt a plus to having it in Indy or Chicago and not get recruits on campus.

It will definitely not be ideal for the fans and the fans that cant afford to get to regular games, but at the sametime, Notre Dame is in a position where two more good classes the next two years = a very solid program.

I just dont see the benefit of not getting kids on campus at anytime because that takes away Notre Dame's greatest recruiting tool.

I vote for the ruins of what had been Holy Cross Hall.

There was (is?) a flat space that hosted dorm softball, football, soccer and racy snow sculptures back in "my day."

Orienting the field north and south would make the game interesting.

St. Mary's Rd as the back of one end zone and (over and down the hill) St. Mary's Lake as the back of the other.

Think about it.

Benny Hill does Blue and Gold.

I am offering 1 Billion vbucks (per ticket) for access to Blue And Gold game
tickets if they are transferable. It might be a pipe dream but a man has got to dream.

I hear ya on that one! I am all in for anything ND! My problem is, I'm a middle aged crippled that can't make the drive to see them. I just stay glued to the tv and re-live the times I was able to see them. The Music City Bowl last year was one to remember! AWESOME experience! My only problem was, the restrooms weren't very wheelchair friendly, haha! I said all that to say this, if you find someone willing to give you tickets for v-bucks, use mine. I would gladly give them, or real money if need be, for a real fan to expereince Notre Dame (and hopefully the campus).
