How is Amir still "almost" 100%? Sounds like that nerve damage was super serious....

This would explain why Gunner had to run to the MAC or bottom of the SEC.

This is the tweet I saw...

He clearly said "almost 100%" in the presser. I hearded it whiff my own 2 ears.

Utupo at 281?!?!?

Man that's maybe the best news of the day! We always knew Utupo could rush the passer, but he seemed out of position at LB. At 281 he could be a real contributor at DE for us. It sounded like Kelly thinks Utupo can push for playing time. That would be a great for DL depth, which I thought before today was a little weak. Love this news.

Clearly those last few minutes were critical and what it took to get him from 99.9987% up to 100%.

I may be reading into your post too much but why take a shot at Gunner? Sounds like you are a bit butt sour for some reason. Did we really expect him to stay if he didn't start this season? Wish the kid luck and move on with some class.
I think this says alot about Everett as a player also.

All this is getting me excited for the start of Spring Ball. Really seems like this team is determined to prove to the country Notre Dame is back.

Very butt sour (lol...I gotta google that as I've never heard it before) as I feel he was the focal point of our championship run last year! LOL All jokes aside, our future is bright I don't think this really makes anyone butt sour as he never took a snap and we are in the best shape in regards to QB depth that we've been in for a long time.

Ok, I guess I took your post wrong. Just thought you were bitter towards Kiel

Nah, you can't blame the guy. But that tweet about EG got me pumped, it says alot. And if EG is progressing like that, GK must not have thought he could unseat him.

We'll see how it plays out but Bk's quotes on GAIII were very positive. It may or or may not translate to the field but "he's committed to being the #1 back" sounds good to me.

I'll be pumped if he can master the one-cut running style like Jonas did. He already presents huge problems for the defense with his speed, but if he can learn to read the holes and react quickly with a cut/cutback, he will be a truly devastating weapon for the offense... especially with the threat of Golson keeping it and killing the backside present.

Overall I thought the presser was good. A lot of guys are healthy and have bulked up. Competition is everywhere and let us not forget we still don't have our full class in yet so guys like Redfield, EV, Jaylon, Bryant etc are not here.

Good day to be Irish.

my two favorite "wow" moments from today was Niklas' bench number.

and that they are setting the roster with what they have and not waiting for the incoming class in the summer. those guys will come in, get a chance to compete, but its up to them as to how fast they raise in the ranks. i like this. says a lot about current team "needs". and there doesnt seem to be many. just things to iron out.

I agree. Kelly has said in the past this incoming class is building depth, not trying to get the right pieces together like the last 3 classes. The fact he says the depth chart is set at spring football only makes me stoked! He has his guys in place.
