So I was (am?) a huge bloodline fan. I loved season 1, and loved season 2 just as much. But I've been trying to watch Season 3 for like 6 months and I just can't get through it.

I can see that happening. I don't know where they're going to take it but I assume the Danny situation (flash backs) would have to be resolved by end of season 2. No way to drag it out for more than 2 seasons. After that I don't know where they would go with it. Danny and the conflict with the family make the show for me. It feels like they could have made this a mini series.

Glad you guys liked it. It's off-the-wall stuff, but it works well with how they build the humor and the recurring jokes and everything.
If any other show had gone the direction they went with the end of the second season, I'd probably say that they jumped the shark already, but it works with Santa Clarita Diet because of the subject matter, and the way the set it all up. You can't really jump the shark with that show lol.
I told my wife that I'm already considering re-watching it haha

Recent article that talks about what happened with Bloodline. It was originally planned as at least 6 seasons. They had to condense the ending into a shortened season 3 due to some change in Florida tax laws that made it extremely expensive to produce.

Started watching Ozarks this weekend. Really like it so far.
Really good show. One of Netflix's best IMO.

I would've preferred if everything that happened in the first episode lasted longer.
Imo, once he hits Mizzou, the show lacks.

Really enjoyed that as well. I was just graduating HS at the time of the incident and never paid much attention to it. So, going through it, essentially, for the first time, made it that much better.

Finished Wild Wild Country a couple weeks back. Really good documentary.
Interestingly enough, I moved to Portland, Oregon in 2005 and had no idea this even happened until this documentary was being made.

Yeah, Season 1 was very good. I'm watching Season 2 as soon as we finish Weeds.
First season was excellent. Haven't watched the newly released second season yet.

I gotta admit, I have been spending more time on Amazon Prime than Netflix lately. More movies on there recently vs more Netflix original content and less movies there. However, I will be back to Netflix soon as Luke Cage season 2 hits very soon.

It's enjoyable. You'll never be blown away, and sometimes it is overly corny, but enjoyable enough if for anything else cuz there is always some action. Some actual historic connections too which is cool

A couple years behind on this but while traveling we started and finished American Crime Story, The People vs. OJ Simpson. And damn did I enjoy that that.
