I agree. And honestly Kansas st is good but there not as good as everyone is making them out to be. They still got some tough games left ill bet they lose atleast 1

I think they lose at least 1, if not both of their next 2. It's Texas Tech and Ok State.

Georgia beats UF
Bama will win nomatter what I wish

If we win out I dont see how we dont skip over Kstate for 2 reasons.

1. Body of work, WVU will probably finish with 3 losses and possibly outside the top 25. If we beat Oklahoma, that win cancels out. Look at our schedule vs. theirs for the rest of the games.

2. Venue. Who the hell would want to watch a Bama/Oregon/Florida NC games vs. Kstate?
Imagine the hype for a Alabama vs. ND Natioinal title game

Honestly Florida isn't as good as everyone is making them out to be either. They struggled with bowling green. They have a **** offense. South Carolina gave them gifts in the game yesterday. I honestly believe the whole sec is over rated as hell. It's a bunch a good defenses going against terrible offenses. I think bama would roll Florida

Idk, the cynic in me says that we dint belong in thus top 5 until we beat OU. I mean seriously, from what we've seen could we actually beat Oregon, Florida, LSU, Bama, or KSU?

LSU-we could beat
Bama- maybe. Itd be a hell of a game. and the matchup would work well for ND.
KSU- yes. WVU is overrated, they have no defense. the same reason I think we beat Oklahoma, Big12 teams put up big numbers against pathetic to average defenses. The shock of playing a defense as physical of ours can not be undervalued, as ND will prove next weekend.
UF- maybe. same scenario with alabama but their offense isnt as good.
Oregon-NO. They are too fast and we dont have to offense to keep up with them. Id rather see ND in a physical game than a speed game as of right now. Next year? it may not matter

If we win out, we need (I hate saying this) to route for USC bigtime. We need them to takeout Oregon. Ive got a feeling Oregon will beat SC, we beat SC, and we are on the edge of our seats praying for a USC victory in the pac12 championship game against Oregon. That will be how we get to the NC

We would pass Oregon because of the computers. Once Florida losses we would replace them as number 1 for computer rankings.

Well, I may take some flack, but I'm of the opinion that UF should jump 'Bama until the Tide prove they belong there.

Bama is the defending NC, and undefeated. Can't really do much more at this point.

We play the same styles of football and think think they are better accross the board. We coulllddddd win, I wouldnt bet money on it, but possible. However, Oregon's up tempo offense and speed is something our defense would be ready for by having to go against our offense weekly. Surely were not close to as fast, but our D is very good against the run and that type of speed.

I tried explaining to my friends why ND would give Alabama/Florida/LSU all they could handle, and they just don't want to understand. ND's most favorable matchup is against a team that wants to establish a power running game... you just can't do it against the ND front 7.

Not sure why people are saying Kansas State is overrated. I've watched them play a couple of times and they are a really good team. They play solid and well disciplined football on both sides of the ball and their QB brings it. They don't make a lot of mistakes either. If an opposing team does they consistently put points on the board as a result.

My main concern with Oregon is there speed against our lb's. we're not athletic enough there yet outside of manti and maybe ishaq. They would expose us on the edges like USC did last year.

We haven't seen anything like that type of speed yet. Certainly not from our offense.
To beat Oregon, we'd probably have to score at least 30, something we also have not come close to against a decent defense, which they appear to have.
Of the teams ranked ahead of us, they may not be the best, but they'd be the toughest matchup for us.

It would be nice if STAN wins out too just so we can have three or four quality wins...especially if OU, MICH and USC all end up in the top 15 as well. That is assuming that ND goes undefeated.

Personally, I would love ND vs AL, but honestly, I think we need to have a crack at another BCS bowl game and prove we belong by taking another team to woodshed in a BCS game for once before moving onto the bigger prize.

I think it would be great for Golson's confidence, as well.

But if ND is undefeated, I think ND will deserve to be at least in the conversation for the NCG

At this point I'm not entirely sure what the argument is that K-State is better than us. They scored a bunch of points against Texas Tech and West Virginia? Is that all?
I can see 'Bama and Oregon. But I'm not sure how we're not #3 at this point.
